Rayman 2 (PC) - Clips, Glitches & Secrets compilation (2018)

Glitches, Bugs, OoB Clips, Skips, Secrets and Easter Eggs compilation in game Rayman 2: the Great Escape - for PC.
The video shows 20 glitches - one for every level in the game and additionally a bonus one which works on every level!
All skips were done on 60 fps and vsync with nGlide 1.05.

Not yet but i will. My biggest question is, how did you find all these glitches? Is there something in the way Rayman moves, that allows him to go our of bounds?

@@autumnsprites488 Hmm, some of the glitches are found just by accident, and some by trying weird/stupid stuff, which might turn out in an unexpected result. The full list of authors of the skip is in description. OoBs usually involve collision ellipse to pass through the wall between two frames - the lower framerate, the easier. Possibly weird stuff like jumping, shooting, sitting in water while diving - this all might help.

@@DarnokPL i had a similar thing happened to me, when i was playing Rayman Raving Rabbits on my Game Boy Advance. I stood still on the world map of candy world, on one of those racing courses. I pressed A to start the level and moved on the map it self after i select the level. Results the level was loaded in as a normal platform level, but every object on screen was a glitchy mess except for the background. I found it by pure accident, and tried out on every word. Results where kinda the same but still fun to see.

Świetna kompilacja ;) Aż się zaśmiałem podczas tego glitchu na Statku Więziennym - co do Żelazowych Gór w ostatnim ,,pokoju'' :P jak to mogę nazwać z Uglette,idź w lewo w stronę ścieków i wykonaj duży skok żzebyś przeleciał przez taką linię(powinieneś zobaczyć spokojnie a skok jest prosty(glitch znaleziony przeze mnie z 8 lat temu). :D

O nie, oglądałam to i pomyślałam "mogłoby się przydać temu Darnokowi, chyba mu podeślę" po czym patrzę na autora i miałam trochę zdziwko :D zamierzasz wykorzystać to w najbliższym Any%?

Z pewnością postaram się wykorzystać Jano skipa, skok nad laserami i podwójny clip w świątyni kamieni i ognia - po prostu oszczędzają za dużo czasu, żeby je odpuścić (mimo, że to są najtrudniejsze triki w grze i nikt poza mną nie traktuje ich serio w RTA). W sumie jedyne co odpuszczam to skok na gałązkę w Żelazowych Górach - oszczędza to mało czasu, jest trudne (skok jest bardzo precyzyjny) i jest ryzyko softlocka.

I probably am not describing this well, so if you don't understand what I'm saying, I can probably get a video. I think I found a new glitch in iron mountains (this video is two years old so it might not be new though). It happens at the part with the big robot chicken (i think thats what it is, I might be stupid though). I go inside the building, and when I walk up the stairs to go across the bridge, I turn around and jump onto a ledge that you aren't normally supposed to land on. There is a door you can shoot open that frees some globox babies. Since you aren't supposed to ever be on the platform, the collision is poorly programmed and you can clip out of bounds in two places. One of these places is actually kind of useful for speedrunning, but not for pc. I play on 3ds, and the pc version already has a faster version of the skip im about to describe. Normally, the globox babies walk into a corner and then disappear. This corner is next to the door. You can walk into this corner in just the right way and clip through the wall. You can then go out of bounds (which eventually just kills you) or you can clip back inbounds and get to the other side where the entrance to the walking shell section is. However, you can just jump across to the other side from the walkway, which skips needing to go out of bounds. This is done in the pc version speedruns. However, I tried to do this in the 3ds version, and was only able to do it once. It was much harder to do. I might just be bad, but I think its harder to do on 3ds. Either way, I think that this is an interesting clip. Again, if I am explaining this poorly, I can get a video of the glitch.
