I'd suggest tweaking the light colors. The original is so much more vibrant in comparison. But other than that, its perfect. Amazing job.

This is looking great man! The one thing I'd say it's missing at the moment is some of the more fantastical colours in the lighting, the original has these wild pinks and blues that would really suit the new one I reckon. Can't wait to see how this progresses !

Amazing work, great effort all around! 👏 One thing that I see in "updating graphics" initiatives is that with added details, the contours of characters and landmarks is lost, which makes the game harder to navigate. Part of it is the colors, the other part is the added lighting complexity. It's a tough thing to solve, so I'll leave some motivation and love here 💪💪💪

This looks really really good, great work man. One question I do wanna ask, what was the reason for removing the lighting's purple tint from the original game? I think it created a very distinct atmosphere. The new graphics don't look bad at all don't get me wrong, just curious.

Honestly no grand reason, just my personal preference. I thought this color pallet looked nice so I stuck with it.

To be fair realism removes a lot of the artistic features of the game or even changes the art style in general. It looks more like "stop motion" animation with the updated graphics. Having grown up with rayman games i'd say the xbox360 version was the best looking one, having played the PC version on a p4(3.06ghz) and some version of the gf6200. Personally i'd pick the older style one with enhanced textures. Good job though, hope you had fun.

I would like to give it a little more vibrance at some point in the future, but I don't think I want it to be as blue as the original. Just my personal preference

Incredible work, really. I'm glad someone has finally delved into remaking Rayman 3 into a more modern engine. Though, I feel like the foliage ( at least the normal grass which you can see in the first cutscene for example ) should be more stylized. I feel like they look way too realistic, which imho does not fit neither the original art style nor the one you're going for ( based on the rest of the assets ). Can't wait to see more, especially the land of the livid dead ( my favourite part of the game, looks wise ).
