In this video Ill be discussing what rayman 4 was going to look like by gathering all the available information about the cancelled rayman game. Now I'm a huge fan of rayman and have always wondered what the game would have been like before it was cancelled, well thanks to some recent rayman 4 gameplay leaks and with the help of some available rayman 4 concept arts we can piece together what rayman 4 would have been like. I also gather some available information from some rayman websites on what rayman 4s story would have been. I hope you enjoy the video :)

I have a feeling that the GBA version of Rayman Raving Rabbids is close as we're ever going to get to see what Rayman 4 would've looked like. See the GBA version has familiar levels and familiar faces and there are also power ups and minigames. So basically, most of Rayman 4 was put in the GBA version of Rayman Raving Rabbids.

Good video, you deserve more vewis bro, I wathced the video, and as much as I love Rayman 4 original concepts. there is some ideas I didn't like 1- Charcters are controlled by real players 2- Rayman would be able to see other Ubisoft charcrtes 3- The game would have been very easy Don't get me wrong, I hate the difficulty in Rayman 1, but I like the level of diffculty in Rayman 3 or Origins , also Rayman 2 had a challenging boss

Thank you for saying that I really appreciate it :) Yeah, there are defiantly some ideas I don't like but all of these where all included in the original concept of the game ( sources in description). I 100% agree as I thought that Rayman 2 and 3 where at a nice level of difficulty especially when compared to Rayman 1 but it would be a shame for Rayman 4 to have been a SUPER easy game with no tough bosses like in Rayman 2. Loved the vid. You managed to pack a lot of info into a 5 min video. I remember when like 2 years ago the animation test for the pheonix version of rayman 4 was leaked. First time hearing that they wanted to make the game easy, but I prefer easy and chill games to be honest. Which is why i hate the OG rayman game, and any souls games, coz they become soo unforgiving if u dont regularly brush up on ur skills. I think Rayman 3 did it right enough. Even though the game was easy, the combat system gave it some much needed depth. I still love the 2D remakes, both origins and legends, but you can complete them quite quickly and Ubisoft disabled the online functionality of the challenges, which I really enjoyed, so it gave me less reasons to come back to play legends.

I love Rayman 3 too, I've never understood why it's so hated it's a pretty good game. I can imagine the alternate timeline where Ubisoft decide to delay Rayman 4 to late 2007 so they can take their time to add some final touches instead of changing it into a mini game collection and it received universal acclaim from fans and critics where they claim it as the best game in the Rayman series (wish we live in that timeline...)

Rayman 4 looksnlike a hit compared to the rubbish Rayman Raving Rabbids and Raving Rabbids are more menacing then the party games.

its defiantly sad to look at what could have been and what we have now. I think that's pretty much one of the main reasons for the hatred of the rabbids franchise as they replaced Rayman 4 and pretty much killed his franchise entirely. Thank you watching and I'm glad you enjoyed ∠(^ー^)

seems like they wanted to make too big of a game with a story that would've been very hard to combine into one solid thing. I mean they already had to do alot of shortcuts on Rayman 3 and that game was great, so I wonder what would've been if they went with it. But time probably got the best of them again, making them scrap alot of what they worked on and just making a minigame-game, without much of a story. See you again in Rayman 4!

It's hard to say, Rayman 4 had 2 prototypes which where both scrapped, one being a sort of matrix game with worlds mixing together and then a game where Rayman has to fight rabbids which was scrapped as well or though they did keep the name 'raving rabbids' for the Wii release which was a completely different game bedsides some backgrounds that where reused and some rabbid models.
