Few things: - Ladder Attacks are just normal aerials performed on a ladder, they’re not unique moves at all. - Second, the side special is a nice idea, but having the ability to attack with a unique attack after it (similar to Corrin’s side special) could’ve been a nice creative liberty on the move that adds extra versatility. - Alternatively, side special could’ve been Shock Rocket which would work like Snake’s Missiles. - Lockjaw as the grab for a Hookshot expy? With the pummel being its ability to shock? - Victory poses and idle poses? Still a pretty cool moveset overall though.

I've seen a tad bit of worry from some people lately that they'd pass over Rayman because they fear he wouldn't bring something extraordinarily new to the table that no other character could bring. I think this video blasted all those worries into the void. With a lot of those specials and the Helicopter Hair mechanic, Rayman sounds like he'd be a scarily good air and offstage fighter.

That’s exactly how I felt. Rayman, to me, didn’t seem like someone who had a particularly interesting moveset just from watching the Rayman LP. He seemed rather par for the course, and while he could’ve had a gimmick of long reaching normals, I always preferred characters that stood out a bit more, like Simon or Spring Man for that role. Rayman only started to seem like more after watching this video, and seeing everything laid out in front of me. I wouldn’t consider Rayman someone I REALLY WANT, but I do think now that he could be far more unique and fun than I initially thought he could be.

I thought Rayman's Final Smash would be a reference from the intro of Rayman Origins, where Rayman, along with Globox, Teensie, Goth Teensie, The Bubble Dreamer, and even Barbera (I know she wasn't in Origins, but I'm still adding her in the Final Smash), beat the living crap out of all the fighters off-screen in a catchy beat.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS VIDEO!! This actually gave me hope for having Rayman in Smash! Out of all the characters in Smash I don't have anyone that I really connect to, I did play the Mario games a bit when I was younger and I even had one Kirby game for the DS, but I don't really connect to them. I REALLY think Rayman has a place in Smash and I just hope that Sakurai and the team thinks the same.

I think Down Special could have another function. If you drop it on opponents in the air while they're grounded, it gets stuck on their heads. Here, it'll act like the Evil Ramblin' Mushroom item, reversing foes moves.

Actually I have a different side special. It's a bit from brawlhalla. Rayman would pull out an axe and will swing it around like crazy so you can control it but CAN go in to freefall when swinging of stage. The special will last 4 or 3 seconds. Hope somebody likes this idea

In my opinion, the mosquito should be his up special. Rayman would be able to move around freely for a limited time. He could shoot (projectiles would be similar to Joker's "Gun") by tapping the attack button and inhale by holding it. When the mosquito inhales something, it can still move but would slide around more. It could also shoot the inhaled projectile or character by tapping the attack button. Also, he wouldn't be able to turn around like in Origins and Legends, so this ability is up B reversible. It would have a cooldown of course. You could cancel up special at any time by pressing B, but it would put you into free fall. And for his final smash, Rayman could punch 1 or more opponents to the music planet in Legends. The launched character(s) would complete the song. The other holes in the planet would be occupied by other Ubisoft characters. The song would play its entirety, and when it finishes, the stage's music would start up again.

Idk if I missed it, but it seems like you didn't cover victory poses for Rayman. I think that could have been talked about but besides that I think this video is pretty cool. (the smile pose would be perfect for it) To me, it's almost criminal how Rayman hasn't been in Smash yet with how he has barely any reasons not to be in. I understand that Rayman could be considered just another "old cute mascot thing" like Sonic or Pac-Man and Solid Snake or Cloud have more wow factor to them but still.

With a rabbid assist trophy that calls in a hoard of unkillable rabbids. Several (depending on stage size; about 4 on Final Destination, minimum of one per standable platform) rabbids dressed as random smash bros characters shooting plungers on the ground for low-damage knockback and a flying submarine that acts as a solid platform slowly moving overhead dropping projectiles from the top of the screen. Obviously only stages that support Rathalos could support this.

ssf2 had a unquie choice for rayman's victory theme instead of using any of the games music, they used the start up sounds turning the game on as well as rayman's yeah because it was one of the most recognized songs

I think Rayman should have the option to slide, where when crouching during a run, Rayman enters a slide. Maybe his dash attack can be changed where it can flow seamlessly into the slide. And maybe the spinning attack from Rayman Origins and Legends could instead be done by pressing the attack button while sliding. (I know it’s actually done by pressing the attack button while rolling in Origins, but I have to innovate it for smash) Also, for the neutral special, to indicate that it’s growing in power, it should glow a blue aura, and then a larger red aura, in reference to the magic fist levels in Rayman Origins and Legends.

I like what you present here. I think that, however, taunts, intros, etc., should go in the aesthetic section of the videos. It's more fitting. Also, while it would be nice I doubt that we'd get a Mario color for Rayman as Smash Ultimate seems to have a rule that characters can't have colors too similar to other characters. Like Ike lost his Chrom color since Chrom is playable. To be fair though, Rayman and Mario have different body types.

Nice, i would like to change some things Side grab: blue tunic powers from rayman 3 ,very special because you can grab enemies with it from distance (1or 2 meter)and electrocute them for a few seconds if you mash the button (Yep, it works like that in the game) for side taunt, i want the grimaces from Rayman 3(damn i love this game) when you put him in front of a mirror (its really funny) taunt neutral: he start playing basketball with his body. (He do that when he's idle after some time in 3D games) And since i love Rayman3 For the final flash: Globox take him on the flying machine (from final phase of the final boss) and Rayman start using the machine gun on the flying vehicule (you have to aim). The attack ends with a dash, if it hit someone, it explode. For the mosquito attack, special side should be good.
