The Dream Forest. Deep and mysterious... and home to swarms of pink, deformed mosquitoes. Were there really that many to begin with? Something's turning the plums funny colours too... could it also be responsible for mutating poor Mr Moskito into a hideous freak of nature? Rayman and friends set off on another adventure to find out...
**Note**
Sometimes textures don't display properly in the Playing in the Shade level, and sometimes Hunter Gatherer becomes unplayable about half way through. I still don't know the cause, but closing and then relaunching Texmod and Rayman Origins usually clears it.
HOW TO RUN MODS
---------------------------------
To run the mod files you need a program called Texmod, which you can download from here: code.google.com/archive/p/tex... (select the texmod zip file at the bottom of the list).
1. Open Texmod and click the large yellow folder icon in the top left corner. Select "Rayman Origins.exe" (usually found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Rayman Origins\).
2. Select Package Mode in Texmod, then select the mod (.tpf file) by clicking the small yellow file icon to the right.
3. Click "Run" and the game should load with the selected mods.
4. Enjoy! :)

I wish all the best for your IRL circumstances. This is such a sick mod to make Jibberish Jungle look a lot more like The Dream Forest from the original Rayman! The texture and sprite work looks fantastic and pays really great homage to the original concept! It even makes Rayman Origins not only look, but also feel more like Rayman 1 entirely! Perfect way to keep Rayman fans occupied and entertained in the meantime for potential future reference! 😎

I wish Rayman 1 Remaster would look like this! Worlds at Origins are beautiful but Rayman 1 ones are more beautiful! So I wish Rayman 1 Remaster should have the same lands like original game but in style of Origins/Legends

Nice! There are some really nice backgrounds and some good implimentation of the Rayman 1 floating flowers and limbless enemies.I also noticed some of the mushrooms are in Mr Dark's visage I think the grass colour is too pale though, not sure about the carnivorous plant being a mosquito either, that looks a bit tacked on.

Thanks. :) I had a lot of trouble with the grass textures. The biggest problem was the lighting, which can't be changed, so it kind of "bleaches" whole areas and makes them look paler than they're supposed to. In all honesty it's a bit upsetting to hear the Moskito boss looks tacked on as I spent weeks trying to make it look decent, but yeah, it's not the best fit. I couldn't think what else to do with it as the bosses are the most awkward shapes to work with, especially this one as it's almost all mouth and hardly any body.

I know what you mean, I would have liked to change it into something more interesting. It's a shame the boss textures were so difficult to work with.

I'm sorry if this is a bad time, but whenever I try to run any mod on Origins with Texmod, the game never boots up, it's always stuck on "Not Responding". I've followed the steps you listed but it doesn't work. I'm unsure if this has to do with the fact that I'm on Windows 10 or not.

Hi, I've made mods In Rayman Origins with Texmod before, Except That I was dumb at first. The First Mod I made was Replacing Ubi Ray\Champion Ray from Rayman Legends (Rayman Legends style). The First Time I tried to make it, I didn't know How To make a mod In Texmod, so I went and found a Tutorial in how to do it. But, I was Stupid; I got stuck On the FIRST step "go to Logging mode and Make a New Folder and Name It "out", select it in the output folder." I made the file and name it "out" and selected it For the output folder, but under it Said "DefFile". So, I tried to make the def File But I couldn't; I failed and Failed AND Failed, So I gave up.The Second Time I tried to do it again In a few months after that Mistake and I did the FIRST step without Issue this time; It turns out I didn't need the Stupid Def file after all that. So I selected the The Dark Rayman Textures I need In the game in BMP files in the "out" folder and did the second step. So I edited all of it and It Took FOREVER Like more than a day because The Ubi ray Textures Didn't Have the Textures like In Rayman Origins. So I had to replace all of that with the Ubi Ray Sprites. I did it and made the Textures and did The Third step. I went to package mode In step Four and selected The "TexMod.Log" and Did it. But..........I realized...........The mod I Made........DID'NT WORK; The sprites were not transparent. So I did the whole Thing Again and Got The Textures Again Except I selected them In PNG Files And Made the mod Again And It works! FINALLY! I did It; The sprites WERE transparent. After that mod I made a mod Replacing GlobRay With The Beta Version Of Rayman From The Rayman Origins trailer. basically I made A mod making Rayman look like The Rayman In The Trailer kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpbZoIuwha-GgJY It fun To make It and I did it!

There is a way to mod Legends but it's much more complicated, and unfortunately I haven't had time to work on any mods lately.
