Holy crap this is why I hate TaeKwonDo. That isn't a fight. It's a touching contest. How can you hit once and just walk away like a boss, that's dumb. Put either of them in the cage and they'd get obliterated.

Point-fighting has its place. It's not a very realistic or practical system unto itself, but arguing that any point-fighter or sport karateka would get obliterated in the cage is demonstrably ignorant. Stephen Thompson, Michael Page, Lyoto Machida, and Sage Northcutt all have backgrounds in sport karate/point-fighting tournaments. In each case, their experience shaped the style they used to fight in the cage. With modifications, it's absolutely practical.
