Hearing this beautiful music reminds me of my good old days of my childhood when there is no worry no anxiety nothing to lose and only be happyyy ever after the whole life..............

The power of the internet...I heard this in a 2007 BBC documentary about the Windscale Nuclear Power Station accident in the UK in 1957....I thought there's absolutely no chance I'll be able to identify who it's by or what it's called... 10 minutes later and here I am...lovely piece of music, very unusual feel to it...

@@amandastill5124 it really doesn't. it's an old song so the audio isn't the best, but otherwise it's beautiful. Hate when people decide to assign creepy vibes to things not meant to be creepy at all. It's just lazy at this point.

such an excellent choice of music for exploring the new century. Especially as it focuses on consumerism, and Raymond Scott very much made music for commercial purposes. Still hauntingly beautiful music though

@Scarlatti2007 Most definitely. I love how this music is initially used to underscore Freud walking in his backyard in the snowy winter. . . the next thing you see is Freud rather aggressively throwing a lit cigar or cigarette onto the pavement (and Adam Curtis is talking about something horrifying about the human psyche whilst the Scott has been faded out and the antithesis of Scott (evil-sounding mid-century Darmstadtian stuffen) has infested what had begun so innocently.
