...raymond scott...a true visionary... --- ...a man whose genius expanded far ahead of his time...//...his vision of... "the tomorrow people" ...(...and of the future capabilities of moon exploration and space traveling, was nothing short of prophetic insight...clearly an amazing man of his time...as well as ours!...R.I.P. - to an incredibly advanced human-being!...

This shit is insane. So many samples from great producers like J Dilla and DJ Shadow are from Raymond Scott's album.

This is excellent music electronic aside, plus its highly advanced. when I was a kid I was facinated by the strange cool sounds I was hearing in adds, often with really far out surrealistic animations as well. the adds were better than the shows in those days.

Everything from 7:23 onward makes early Devo & Talking Heads sound like light opera. And it's completely unintentional.

Woow! and a a bit of"The Who Sell Out", which is brilliant in it's own element. Way-out experimental jazz, sci-fi, and ad parody rolled into (whatever). I bet this guy was Zappa and Beefheart's hero! Maybe Sun Ra, too (though they were contemporaries.)

"That's gotta come from Europe. We wouldn't play no shit like that. It's so sad. It sounds funny to me. Sounds like a 1935 arrangement by Raymond Scott. You mean there's somebody around here that feels like that? Even the white people don't feel that sad." Miles Davis.
