Cuz that’s how it reads in English. You are expecting people from other sides of the world to pronounce the words that only applies to specific region/language.

@@kai64 Yes. I am expecting them to learn and respect other languages. I expect a Ftench person to say London and not Londres. Many people are just lazy and ignorant.

@@kai64 I don't expect anyone to speak other languages fluently. Dialect, accents, colloquialisms are great. If you are too ignorant to learn and know how proper names are pronounced, it is sad. I wouldn't disrespect President Biden, by calling him Beedon. How would you pronounce Jaeger Le Coultre? Breguet? Audemars Piguet? Baume et Mercier? If you have an interest in watches, I would have thought it was natural to learn how to pronounce the manufacturer's name.
