The pair I received are so blurry anywhere other than dead center that I will more than likely be returning them. I have reached out to Rayneo to see if there is a firmware fix coming. As of now they are not close to as crisp as the XReal Airs.

Could you say something about blurred text near the edges? Is the picture sharp at the edges? I’m worried about chromatic aberration (the PSVR2 has this).

How do they compare to Rokid and Xreal?

So what I would say is that we have new features like Rokid with the USB-C now and 120Hz and adjustable arms like Xreal but we have lost the interchangeable covers and we don't have a companion option like the others do so good option but not as many features as the others.

I really love this concept because it allows you to have computing power in a portable Factor allowing you to leave your laptop at home if you need to. I would love to be able to edit my KZbin videos while on the road without bringing my Dell XPS 17 and I will absolutely try doing something like lumafusion on these glasses while on the plane or in my hotel.

From personal experience the last year and a half I have used glasses like these to edit videos with my MacBook and it is absolutely fantastic. It will take a little bit of adjustment but once you finish your first edit you will get used to that setup.

Have you, or anyone here in the comments, tried the older Xreal, Rokid Max, or Viture One glasses? How do they compare in terms of seeing the screen with these? I found all three of the others to have the same problem; where I wasn't able to see the entire screen comfortably due to how the glasses fit my face. I'm wondering if the RayNeo Air 2's are any different in that aspect or if they're basically the same as every other pair of movie glasses. Center of the screen was fine, just the edges were ever so slightly cut off and it wasn't good enough for me for the price....or maybe i'm just spoiled by VR fovs

Yeah i just got air 2 its so blurry i can see only 60% clearly while the old version next s was 90% clearly... What about rokid max is it okay with the adjust it to be less blurry?

Non removable front is a downgrade imo. The magnetic attachment from the prior models was a very nice to have

so that is a change I wished they did not do, but we get better support for adjustments now on the arms. But you got it right we lost the ability to use them with no shades or the ability to make the shades darker

those in europe are really much cheaper than previous models or competition models so I can let it be like that without headache, another option is gluing black film on them to prevent light from ruin picture in light day

I tried these glasses and I ended up sending them back because there's no pupillary distance settings. My eyes are wider than the center of the lens. I read a lot of comments saying that the edges of the screens are blurry and the reason why is? It's that their pupils are set wider than the center of the OLED panels. Why don't these companies make an adjustment for pupillary distance. My Quest 2 has an adjustment widen the lenses. I also tried the new Xreal glasses and they are the same.
