I can't wait for the color reproduction (SSI levels) of this light to start coming out for the other Aputure lights, it will make these LED lights even more favourable in high end productions.

Definitely! I was on an Ashley Furniture commercial today and they had a regular 200X (not the 200XS) mixed in with the Aputure lights. Shot on RED camera. Big budget. Aputure and Amaran lighting!!!

That shoot looked fun as hell! Was debating whether to get this and the dome150, or grab the LS300x. This helped me decide, def getting the 200xs, and can upgrade later. Thanks!

Thanks for vid. Amaran 200 X S seems a pretty good budget option with improved SSI for greater colour fidelity. Just ordered one from Amazon. I'm a newbie and this will be my first light and was persuaded to buy into the Apurture eco system and Sidus link app rather than one of many alternatives from Godox, SmallRig, Nan etc. If I like then will probably add more in time too.

Good choice! I hope it's working out for you. I just ordered the Amaran Pixel tube so I'm looking forward to testing that out, and adding it to my Aputure/amaran arsenal too
