I rly like this format for complicated farms! Instead of showing the end result and fly to places, u start by questioning what's step 1, step 2, step 3 and only show us that part so that we could understand easily! Congratulations on creating a successful mob head farm!

Amazing design, there's so many cool uses of game mechanics like manipulating a witch into always using harming potions to heal the skeleton Also how much more efficient would this farm be if the mob head drops worked like Bedrock (where every possible mob will drop a head if killed in the explosion, rather than just one)

I've just learned so much about MC thanks to You explaining everything, how witches, Charged Creepers and Pathfinding works at every step! Every time I asked myself "couldn't he done it easier?", in a minute You would show why it can't be done that way. The fact that You had made it so enjoyable and not boring is so good, I just sat there interested through the full 25 minutes. Good Luck on your challenge!

I found one issue: in the killing chamber, where the mobs are blown up, small zombies can accumulate in the south east corner of the glass block. I solved it with a simple water current which pushes all of the mobs to the center of the block, but this causes some mobs to jump and not die with 1 explosion 100% of the times. Sick design, by the way

This is very clever, all the complicated moving parts to make something work out like this when there's so many issues at every turn, industrializing the production of one of the game's hardest to obtain items and rarest mobs. I just love the idea of carefully crafting a creeper-only farms and storing mobs in minecart towers, and then you have a skeleton infinitely shooting at an iron golem to blow up the creeper and a witch constantly throwing harming potions at a snow golem to heal the skeleton, all at perfectly catered distances to kill the mob for its head without letting anything else take damage, which is just insane how finely tuned it is. I'd like to mention. it would probably be important to ensure that the skeleton, witch, and snow golem are all in the same chunk. If the skeleton could shoot the iron golem but the witch didn't see the snow golem, then the skeleton will die. I'm not an expert at all but I'd assume that's a situation that could happen if you unloaded a chunk that only contained the snow golem, or loaded a chunk with only the skeleton and the snow golem.

I want to see how many things can be farmed and also all be loaded. I know sometimes farms have to be a bit away to make sure they aren't messing with each other, so I'm wondering if we want as many farms working, are there any way farms can overlap each other like this farm and a creeper farm. Would be interesting, expecially with the crafters so see the craziest thing you can craft by sitting there

Using witch to heal is really smart, but there is a simpliest way to make creeper explode. I created a head farm too long time a go, I used the player detection, 2 blocs lower than creeper, so he can see you and try to kill you, you take 0,5 dmg from a charged creeper. You can use the beacon or use a shield. I used water to prevent bloc destruction and with the shield, you take no dmg, the shield neither because it's causing 0,5 heart only even before the update. I updated it this week, Using name tag, I can get 504 creepers with one lightning strike. That's my record I'll post it soon, I would be honoured of you could tell me what you are think about it. I follow you since a while
@Birmioh Жыл бұрын
In my first design I used a comparator to create an impulsion to get the others mobs, now I'm using a minecart on an activator rail, the creeper's explosion is breaking it in the same damge range of 12 blocs + Logic gate to make bring mobs in the killing chamber, they only drop if the creeper and the mob are 1 on each trapdoors
