I feel you. The first time I ever flew was to San Diego for boot camp, and the pressure ruptured my left ear drum. I didn't realize what it was at the time, just that it hurt but I was too anxious to focus on it. Finally figured it out when I realized I could only hear the DIs screaming on one side and could not judge the direction of sounds at all. It was a great first week. Anyway, after a couple more flights and trying lots of things, I got my body trained to yawn any time I feel that pressure building, and that always pops the tubes open for me.

@57:05 another was that the Shadows of the Empire multimedia project(essentially a movie release, without a movie) did gangbusters, showing the IP was still strong, & along with the Special Editions coming out( which prototyped a lot of the SFX for the prequels) they were pretty much priming the pump at Lucasfilm for getting the project started & getting energy back into the IP. The Phantom Menace had so much hype leading into its premier precisely because the gaming & book side of things had been pumping out such good products the whole decade & expanding the story in every direction. People were ready for NEW Star Wars. The actual prequels were mid at best, but damn the fan engagement all around them with regards to to tie in content & EU content were still some of the best games, books , & comics out there. Something Disney didn't just neglect but actively suffocated under a pillow.

My theory is that Terran balances the audio for headphones. It ends up not sounding right on speakers. There should also be a volume ceiling set for Razor's mic. So when he's laughing or whatever the volume doesn't suddenly triple. I think they have two mic's anyhow. If they don't then they should. Two mics should allow for different audio levels for each of them.

The First Descendent is proof that mediocre at best games will be held up in high regard if the characters look nice. I played it for 2 hours before the horrible optimisation became too much to ignore. The missions suck, the loot sucks, the enemies are brain dead. It's just Warframe but worse in literally every aspect. Even Warframe has better character designs.

I saw Synthetic Man's review for this and this is a pass. This game does have w0ke moments along with the fact that it's mediocre. I hate the fact that people are downplaying that MachineGames is the same devs that killed the Wolfenstein series, by producing a Wolfenstein game that's so loaded with propaganda that it gives Last of Us 2 a run for its money.

True. New Order and Old Blood were excellent. One of the best FPS of the past 10 years, and seeing as it came out 10 years ago that's really saying something. I never finished Wolfenstein 2. I got most of the way through and realised that even while ignoring the propaganda as best I could, I wasn't having fun.
