There's a lot of shortcomings but the headset is the only one with the spec list I personally want, which is: Transparency Mode to hear my family, None-gamer aesthetic, good battery life, good sound with EQ and good enough base sound, 2.4ghz and bluetooth. These are difficult to get in one device. Transparency mode and 2.4ghz being the most important of the two, and when they do the headset usually has really bad transparency. I don't think I could ever recommend these, but if you can get them for $150 or less new, they're absolutely worth it with the short comings.

Does the mic work if you use 3mm on Xbox controller

The Barracuda Pro's do not have any 3.5mm or USB-C audio, it's completely wireless using the dongle or bluetooth. You would need the Barracuda or Barracuda X to get 3.5mm input.

Sound is terrible with ANC on and connected to a Ps5 and the ear cups have no depth so your ears feel like damp socks after 30 minutes

yep... why I never take gaming gear reviews seriously, especially when it comes to audio. ANC off is a must and even then they sounded like your average 60eur wired gaming headsets. Happy I was able to return them. Problem is that this cost 300eur in EU and that's about 2x their worth... And build, too much plastic for that money. Mic is really solid, you do have a dongle for PS5 which is great and a solid battery life. Comfort is so-so. Light, great sit on top of your head, but as you said, ear cups aren't deep enough. 2-3mm more would do a lot for them. Overall I wouldn't recommend them, especially since for 250eur you can get Beyerdynamic MMX200 which are better than this in more or less every way.

@@L0vac I actually picked up a pair of Bose headphones on sale for $250, as I don't need a good Mic cause I mostly play single player. Sound is really good with ANC on, ANC is much better, and they're much more comfortable.
