This is hands down one of the best value Razer mice I've ever seen... you get incredible RGB lighting, an awesome electronically controlled 4-way scroll-wheel, that can automatically switch between tactile-scrolling and free-spinning scrolling (when the Smart-Reel mode is enabled). It comes with Razer's ultra-lightweight Speedflex cable, high-quality 100% PTFE mouse feet, and the 2nd-gen Razer optical mouse switches. The only thing that this mouse is missing is the 8,000Hz polling rate feature found in some Razer mice, but apart from that, it's just about got it all.
I've been so happy with this Razer Basilisk V3 so far that I've chosen it over the wireless Basilisk Ultimate mouse I was using before. This new V3 still has the same perfect mouse shape as the previous Basilisk mice, which is great, it's hands down one of the most comfortable mice to use for long periods of time. Really hoping Razer releases a wireless version of this V3 Basilisk soon! :)

Looking at Basilisk V3 Wired and ROG Keris Wireless for office and casual gaming use. So I will be bringing the mouse back and forth between office and home. I don't care about extra buttons, and both shapes work for me. Which would you suggest? Sacrifice features for wireless or the other way?

I just bought this mouse and it is freaking awesome. My only complaint is coming from light weight gaming mice I've been using for the past couple of years the Basilisk is quite heavy at 110 grams and it is going to take some getting use to but for productivity and net surfing it is great. I guess if I want to get down to some serious gaming I'll plug my Viper V2 pro in.

I'm glad Razer's finally upgrading their scroll wheels. I LOVED that feature in Logitech G502 and MX Master, but literally all of my logitech mice failed in less than a year (double click issue) so I decided to never buy Logitech again lol. I hope they make a wireless version of this soon.

i bought the ultimate while back when it was over 100$, and today i saw v3 at microcenter for 60$, i noticed the texture on top of the mouse isn't as smooth as on ultimate and probably doesn't wear off. Also that extra side button that you can add on the left side ,that's in the side pocket of the mouse, on ultimate is build in on the v3. i couldn't see can you use the charging dock for v3? or is it only cable?

I'm working on getting rid of all the cables. I'll wait for a wireless version. I just ordered the viper and basilisk ultimate. Been using the viper wired version or the mamba... i don't remember which one it is. Ordered 2 custom XXL Mouse Mats too. Also ordered a Secretlab Magnus desk 60"... didn't get all the cable management. As I'm using affirm. Didn't want to put those cheap products on affirm. But most of those cable management supplies for the Magnus wont ship until January. I'm going to get the Dark Knight management supplies. Secretlab should partner with Razer and make a desk. I'd love a Razeragnus desk.
