Hi Art! I also had this similar issue and almost ended up smashing mine as well. It only happens on my PC and not my laptop, so I am guessing it is a software problem with Razer's Synapse. Though I still cannot pinpoint exactly what causes it, and apparently Razer also cannot figure it out even after sending them a log file generated from the troubleshooting program........

Hi Alexandru! For work, if in a very quiet office setting, the linear switches might be better as they are a lot quieter. Though personally, I prefer the typing experience provided by the tactile feedback from green switches. If purely gaming, the linear switches are definitely faster, but if for work, I will recommend the greens if your work place colleagues don't mind your loud typing sounds ^^

Hi Luminous! Definitely the phantom edition if you are into minimalistic and clean look :) value wise, it doesn’t offer anything more than the normal edition other than aesthetics though…

@@luminousncc You're welcome. 😃 As for turning the RGB off, you will not be able to see anything other than the printed secondary functions. It will be an inconvenience unless you can memorize where each key is. Though, just a food for thought, you shouldn't buy a Razer product to use it without RGB as I personally think RGB is one of the brand's strength 😆

Hi Shane! If in Bluetooth mode, press fn+right Alt+ 1-7 for preset RGB mode, and if in 2.4 GHz mode, you need to use Razer’s PC software to configure and set the RGB effects :)

Hi Mohamed Fadel! You're welcome and thank you for watching! I would recommend either green or yellow as they both are great switches. If you like a quiet experience while typing (or share the workspace with another person), get the yellow switches, and if you don't mind the click clack sounds and like the tactile feeling when you press a key, the green would be better. As for the monitor in this video, it's the Samsung CRG9 49" super-ultrawide monitor that I also made a video about on the channel. Though, the latest model is now the Odyssey Neo G9 from Samsung as they probably don't sell this model anymore ^^

Can you buy the phantom keycaps separately which include the extra symbols etc E.g. F1 to F12. I have Phantom Keycaps in White, but none of them have the extra symbols etc for my new V3 Mini......

Hi Shyam! Unfortunately, the phantom keycaps upgrade set do not come with the extra printed FN legends on the front facing side of them (except for media functions which will be printed). The only way to get the full legends for the Blackwidow V3 Mini is by purchasing the phantom edition. This is because their 60% and 65% keyboards have FN functions located at different keys, and that the upgrade kits is most likely designed for full sized keyboards. Though if you can memorize where the FN functions are, using the upgrade kit will give you an overall cleaner minimalistic feel :)

@@GamersClinic Thank you :) I replaced the caps on my v3 mini with phantom whites, and when using the keyboard throughout the day I realised I didn't need to use the FN function key apart from when refreshing a folder FN + 5 for F5. You're right, keyboard looks cleaner this way and no need to worry!

bought huntsman TE with red switches last month and really happy with it. and now i'm interested with blackwidow v3 mini wireless phantom edition with yellow switches. i don't know if i should take standard edition or phantom edition, price difference is aud50 with the standard one

Hi Han! The main difference is the keycaps, and the price increase is due to that the phantom keycaps will add an additional 50fps in games. (just joking, dunno why Razer is charging so much more). The phantom edition will have slightly brighter RGB effects spilling out from under the keys (similar to back on the Blackwidow V2 Chromas), and that they look really clean when the keyboard is off. But if you do decide to go with the normal one, you can always purchase the phantom keycaps set at a later date to upgrade your keyboard ^^

Hi restinpieces! Mainly just the keycaps. If you get the phantom edition, you will get the phantom keycaps pre-printed with the legends. If you get the normal and upgrade in the future via Razer's phantom keycaps kit, there will be no printed legends for the secondary functions ^^

i have this problem with both wireless keyboard mni and also v3 pro, sometimes i just din want to charge it at my PC, so i just charge it with a wall plug with the razer cable. end up both times the wireless charge no longer available , it stuck at 1% and cant be charge anymore. have u ever try something like that? Hi This Is Not Who I am! Firstly, thank you for the Sub! As for which one to recommend…. You’ve listed 3 of the most attractive mainstream SFF keyboards making this quite difficult (lol) as they are all very capable. I’ve reviewed the G915TKL a bit earlier as well, and I still can’t decide which one to keep. But, depending on your other peripherals, I will first recommend go for the brand that you plan to use so you can customize all of them with just one software. Secondly, depending on your budget, if you plan to spend more on other peripherals then go for the ROG Falchion, as it’s both small and sexy with a reasonable price tag; or which ever one of those is on discount with a great deal. But if I am to name one outstanding feature of each of these 3 choices, it would be as follows: Blackwidow V3 Mini = Best looking RGB and keycaps Logitech G915TKL = super sleek low profile mechanical switches, and also most comfortable for long typing/gaming sessions Falchion = best value for money and smallest size footprint of the 3. Hope this long reply helps lol

Thanks for the reply! After actually going to the local electronics store and trying out all three of them with different switches, I ended up going for the Logitech g915 tkl, since it is the best to type on with its linear switch and the look is really great in person (better than falchion and Blackwidow), also managed to get a free Logitech mouse pad for around 190 in total. :)

Hi PM! It does get scratched up on my fullsized Blackwidow V3 Pro, but it's not too obvious. But for the Mini, I left the protection film on. It's ugly, but gets the job done in protecting it 😅

@@fspeshalxo69 I personally use the full sized wired blackwidow on my pc and I bought this as a gift for my son. So, I have no input on practical usage. He hasn’t mentioned any issues with the keyboard, but being a kid maybe he has smaller wrists ? Try using the legs on the back. I use mine at my desk that way, otherwise I do get fatigued faster and I don’t use a wrist rest. Hopefully this helps

Hi Scott! Exactly... Unfortunately, that's the price to pay for going wire-free. The only brand that I've used and doesn't require constant charging is Logitech's G915 TKL wireless keyboard. That one lasts me a week, and it's one of the most missed features while I review Razer's wireless keyboards >
