Used this for like 2 years maybe less, and it has a great response and the 2.4 dungle works just like if it was connected (at least for dota2), sadly the mouse 3 click began to fail, the plastic its just ok, it makes a little noise when you slightly squeeze the mouse, I've never had a mouse that the scroll click started to have issues :/

are the dongles for wireless RF 2.4 ghz or both RF and bluetooth? I'm curious because on my AMD build I don't have built in bluetooth but on my laptop and my intel desktop I do, so would I need the dongle for the BT enabled PCs and I could just leave the dongle with the PC that doesn't have BT? edit: got to the end where you said it could interfere with the headphones or lag if on BT... guess it's dongle RF all the way then! lol

Sorry for the slow reply >< But both dongles for both models are for 2.4ghz only. To use bluetooth, on your AMD build, you will need a separate Bluetooth dongle. Strangely though, it only occurs with the Atheris and my laptop+ BT headphones, but hasn't happened with the Hyperspeed X and my laptop + BT headphones.

Sorry for being vague, there is a switch underneath both models which allows you to select either BT connection (which has max 500hz polling) or 2.4GHz connection (Max 1000hz polling) which you will need to plug in the dongle ^^

Hi Indethbed! If you mean the Deathadder V2 Pro, then yes it could be used without the 2.4Ghz wireless dongle if your computer has bluetooth connection.

Do you recomend this for competitive gaming?. I did see another review that says that the original basilisk is good cuz the grip is better (the mouse is for clawgrip) and another thinks... I alredy have a razer deathadder but this mouse is for palmgrip and i'm searching for a clawgrip mouse

The original was quite good indeed. Depending on your palm size, if they are large, then you can easily claw grip the new basilisk. I have large hands and like you prefer claw grip, which is why I gave away my first deathadder. I personally like the new Basilisk’s slightly angled surface which reduces wrist fatigue when gaming long sessions as it angles my wrist in a more neutral angle on the table. As for competitive use, the wireless connectivity is very reliable, and if you prefer wired mouse, Razer also has the wired version that is US$20 more :)

Hi! Yes you can use both models with the iPad. I've only tested this with the iPad Pro, so not sure if it will work with all iPads. But based on Apple's website, iPads with IOS 13.4 and above should be able to pair with any bluetooth mouse.
