As an ultimate user, the biggest suck is the bad build. I’m talking about finger oil magnet and the horrible mouse 1 and two wobble. Other than that, I like the original. I got it for a killer deal brand new so it is what it is. But I can say if you have the extra money, the v3 pro is the better mouse.

I use the baskilisk x hyperspeed and while its a good moue ive grown to hate using AA batteries. rechargeables give like maybe 2 days if im lucky, if unlucky less than 6 hours. this was by far the best video ive seen on this mouse and it made me pull the trigger to upgrade, thanks!

ill be honest thats very small difference between this two. If some of u dont mind use wired mouse Basilisk v3 it self work perfect with much more cheaper price. if youre looking for a good and budget wireless mouse ill say go for Basilisk ultimate , reason very simple Ultimate work the same and it comes with a charging dock also the RGB within the mouse is one of the most unique mouse u can ever find. for me personally i got All 3 because I just like Basilisk series, but in all honesty v3 pro not really worth it simple reason as well because it DOES NOT come with a charging dock, so u have to spend another 100 for a charging dock. For sure not worth your money, if v3 pro come with a charging dock I would say is Alright for that price.

Yes, it also charges the mouse simultaneously when you connect it with the provided cable in the box. Regarding 'not a fan of wireless gaming mouse', this mouse surprisingly has lower wireless latency than when it's connected via cable.

Hope they makes next time that buttons bevel in reverse. My middle finger barely reaches the back edge of the right button, because slightly small hand and 13 00-14 00 o'clock grip! Maybe sometimes some mouses has some slightly rightward protruding corners towards the buttons from the mouse stem in right-handed models!

Will the mouse work over wire on a PC with no Razer drivers (like at all)? I want to switch my Logitech MX Master 2S, and one of the things I really dislike about it is that it won't work without Logitech's drivers, which is extremely annoying, if I want to use it on some random PC/laptop or just navigate UEFI.

It will work right out of the box on both PC and Mac. You only need the Razer's Synapse software to set custom DPI and change RGB colours.

Being that this was posted a year ago, what are your thoughts on the mouse at this point in time? Have you tried it with the brand new Synapse software that was recently released? Have you ran into any problems? Seriously considering this mouse after my 5 year old wired Logitech G502 died and the new wireless one is just uncomfortable, and my Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro scroll wheel died after 1 month of use. Additionally, I saw you using the mouse on the iPad Mini 6! I also have the same one and was curious, was this an easy connection to make?

With the updated Synapse, it did get a slightly better battery life with the added smart dimming RGB lights feature. It's still a very comfortable mouse and a feature packed mouse, though I have moved over to the Cobra Pro as it is more compact and offers slightly better control and accuracy when it comes to productivity tasks for my hand and claw grip style.

1:23 it did seem odd they added that, and that its non-removable, since you can accidentally press it. if I would have this mouse I would have to change the button to do nothing. Logitech G502 X Lightspeed has the same thing! but at least on g502 you can take it off. which will make the button moot. odd design choice. gamers _loath_ accidental clicks for obvious reason. and no, you don't need specially long fingers to accidentally press it, just normal adult hands.

V3 Pro is heavier and has the latest technology so it’s more reliable (no double clicking is what razer says) and it’s more convenient because it’s wireless but if you want all the benefits of the mouse you NEED the Charging Dock Pro for the wireless charging and 4k polling rate combined

@@kayoko9258yeah my V2 experienced some jumping and you had to press down the scroll wheel hard to activate the fast scrolling thing on pages for example. I believe it’s just dust so get a compressed air can with the small nozzle and blow it on the inside of the scroll wheel

No, it's not. I have a Razer RGB Mamba TE wired and it is better. You can even see the Basilisk lighting except that it's an undergrow. it would have been better if they had trimmed off the edge of the mouse so you could see the lights better. Even thought it does have a higher PSI 30,000. The Mamba TE is 16,000 so no gamer is going much higher than that much less 30,000 PSI. I did like the feel but the buttons where to high for my small hands and I had to reposition my hand to use the 3 side button. A nice High battery life even if you don't turn off the RGB. The Bamba TE is wired and better with 1ms response time and smoother gliding. I returned The V3 Pro, even though I got it for under $100. Wish they made a wireless Mamba TE with long battery and RGB like the wired. For me the Mamba TE is the best. Maybe one day they will make one better than the Mamba RGB TE wired.

Hi Jose! I mostly game at 2-4.5k dpi, but if 600dpi is what many people are using, it really makes 30k or 50k dpi sensors pointless. Better if brands invest in something else more worthwhile.

You can't take advantage of the product without the software, which isn't even working that great on the only platform available. It has all the flaws of the Ultimate and now the software is making my CPU idle 6 degrees higher. Turn off the software, lost the RGB control but CPU now has true idle. When my ultimate dies I'll be switching brands. Could have improved the mouse by listening to people but they did their own thing as always.

Scroll acceleration is absolute useless. Way to fast and not controllable. SMART-REEL don't feels good as Logitech. It do not feel intuitive. I don't like it. May be ok if both features are adjustable, but in the current state it is not usable. Very disappointing.
