Wow, the mic quality is one of the best I've heard for a gaming headset! It's unfortunate they can't mix bluetooth/game audio simultaneously. That's a major reason I go for higher end gaming headsets.

Seem good but I’m waiting for the PlayStation ones. Being able to connect to two devices at a time is the killer feature for gaming headphones imo. I love listening to music or a podcast and still be able to hear my game so easily

@@NazPresents Yeah, you just double tap on the buds. I have the Xbox version and my only complaint is that the default is microphone on whenever you connect, so I always have to remember to mute them before joining an online game.

Thanks for the great review. You showed the Razer app, is there a way to control the volume and mute the mic quickly via the app? When playing games I often mute my mic or adjust the volume and I'm guessing that would be difficult via the touch controls.

You're not able to connect to the app when connected through the transmitter. You can the adjust volume with touch controls, though. And if gaming on PS5 you can mute the microphone with the controller.

I bought the Hammerhead X to try out Razer, I am surprised about it I've played with the Audio settings I maxed out the settings and played with the volume. It didn't distort the audio at max levels and mids and lows are pretty clear, other earbuds that has Audio Apps when you put the custom EQ all at high and Max the volume they get distorted. Razer Hammerhead X didn't like for $60-$70 you get that kind of audio quality it's insanely good. It's 13mm drivers so if you're ear holes isn't big enough don't buy em, bcuz they're not for everyone they will get uncomfortable I'm good fits my ears ok and their IP4 so sweat and rain is ok. Gaming earbuds is definitely going to be a thing now. I'll probably buy the PlayStation version because of your review it was pretty clear and I had good experience with Razer.

Btw, do these have some annoying voice that says stuff like "device active" like the WH-1000XM4 over-ears have? I want complete silence or at least no voices telling me what happens.

Yes for the fact that it's Bluetooth. The pulse 3d isn't a Bluetooth headset. It only works with it's 2.4ghz USB adapter

Not sure if you made your choice but I've found the Pulse 3D to be super nice in terms of sound and controls but for me they become extremely uncomfortable/ painful after more than an hour of gaming so I'm looking into possibly getting Earbuds.

i bought the “soundcore VR P10” few days ago from amazon for 61$ tax and all wich is less than half the price for these and i have to admit they are wayyyyy better than these razer ones.. and razer is my favorite brand.. almost everything i own is razer from my rig.. except on my ps5 of course. on the soundcore you can be playing ps5 and automatically switch from the game to answer a phone call or watch a video at the same time without having to connect them manually. its like they are both connected at the same time. the sound is perfect and the mic works great aswell IMO. the only good thing i did like about the razers is that they are playstation licensed and go good with the set.

100% the P10s. I just got them and they're fantastic. Sound quality is superb and latency is nonexistent. Highly recommended them especially for about half the price.

I have never understood the argument for ANC. Frankly most earbuds that have a plug tip for the ear, block enough noise on their own. So I get where you coming from. It's a feature I'll never use. I feel like a good ambient is definitely worth trying to market more.
