The mic was pretty bad, i had one and its worst. Its just pick up whatever noise you had around you. Wethere is chair moving, door closing, fan spinning. Your gaming mate would frustrate during your game time.

Nice review, I'm actually disappointed Razer don't straight up say you can't have high quality audio as well as a working mic, the little querks and issues spoil this headset. The mic recording issues have driven me nuts for ages trying to get them working and I've accepted that I need to buy my daughter an external mic to go with them, disappointing but well... Who doesn't love kitty ears? Lol

well you saved me from being a total neko-metal-dude. (being a bit of of an audiophile). But I really love how they look on you! I hope the cushion parts stay nice and comfy. I have a JVC gaming headset. flipping $350. has 7.1 and headtracking. but the cushion is just tearing itself apart with regular use. (And they aren't even bluetooth) I am really happy I got them with my laptop and never bought them myself. (I rock KRK-8402 studioheadphones). Great review as always! Honest and true!

I believe they updated the Audio app so that you can control both audio and rgb settings through it. I never had to use another app. I really do think these were marketed strictly for mobile. It gave me a premium feel for mobile with my Samsung Z2 Fold but on my laptop it feels pretty bland. My only big issue was the bass quality is non existent.

Pity about the negative aspects of this headset, and it doesn't come in black 😅 I am looking to try a wireless headset but I use Discord all the time and I want a proper mic. Thanks for a great review though, I am glad I watched this before buying it! ☺

Thank you for watching, I’m glad you found it helpful!! I don’t own any, but Razer has released a couple of newer versions of this headset that *could* be better potentially. I know their wired version has a dedicated microphone too (which makes the omission of one on the Bluetooth version confusing)

With the amount of issues it has for what it is, it's really only for aesthetic purposes. Unfortunate but let's face it, we live in a world where "Don't judge a book by it's cover" is ignored. Sure it may look cool and Razer is a huge brand and it doesn't come cheap, but if it can't even do the simplest thing without connection errors and can't even figuring out what the problem is and how to fix it...... just get a simple Headset. Yes it's plain, but as long as it works, little to no connection errors and easy to problem solve issues, then it's more about promising what it can basically do, rather than "ooo it looks pretty!"

Good review! Sad it had issues when we played fall guys and its a neat looking headset but there are some questionable decisions regarding its features.

Do you think these would be good for mobile use only? I’m planning to get some for my iPhone for listening to music, but I do occasionally use discord on my phone to play Minecraft, but I’m not too fussed about the mic ☺️

Yes it’s good for Discord too! I’ve had a few issues with the Bluetooth connection but it’s overall been good to use for either mobile or PC :)

11:30 This happens because there is technical issue with nowadays bluetooth as you figured. But you can still make it work. All you need to do is to use independent microphone😂 What i figured is that when you use bluetooth headphone for discord or phone calls, they just can not handle sending and receiving signals for microphone and speaker unit in the same time. Nonetheless, your phone will control your headphone automatically to downgrade your quality of hearing to handle both signals, while your PC discord will not automatically do it for you and make some problems. And even if you made it work, you will still have to experience downgraded audio quality. So it's either you sacrifice overall audio quality or just use independent microphone.
