​@@judal58 Yes, it works. There is one more cable rather than + and -. Remove the stickers on original battery, then you will able to reach mini motherboard which controls LEDs, battery duration and temperature I guess. We removed it from the original battery and inserted it into the new battery. Then put the white socket back in its original place. In this way, everything about the headset works.

I have to come back and say that this is the best thing you can do to your Razor headphones and here is why: Since I bought the headphones I had issues with Bluetooth interruptions and annoying beeps. Every time I walked in another room with the headphones on, I encountered loss of signal. After the battery replacement, the signal goes both ways (sound and microphone) through 3 walls with no issue. Looks like the original battery is a bit undersized. I hope I am not overloading the circuits. I will let you know if the 18650 3500 MAH 3.7V is somehow harming the headphones. For the moment, no heat, no buzz no increase in sound intensity.

Does not work on the Razer Nari Essential. The headphones refuse to charge (though they work while it's charged), I have tried soldering the wires twice with different batteries to no avail. I had to switch back to the old battery which works. Unfortunately, I think the Razer Nari Essential is dependent on either a specific battery or that white wire.

So I performed the battery replacement, but without using the original charging circuitry. The battery charges but it takes FOREVER (2+ days). I grounded the extra white wire to ground. I dont have a spot welder. Can I just solder the original charging circuitry to the larger battery tabs?

Es lo mismo, la diferencia es que los essentials no tienen los vibradores. Recuerda añadir una resistencia de 10K para que te muestre la luz verde al terminar de cargar. En un comentario abajo tengo la foto de como debe quedar

El cable blanco no es el sensor de temperatura, o bueno desconozco si lo es o no, pero, lo que si que es, es el sensor de carga.

I think that you should try with a battery that work at 3.7v, you don't need to make it fit perfectly but you will know if it's a battery problem or something else. It's a shame it arrived dead :( i hope that is the problem because it's a long wait

Estás seguro que la batería que instalaste tiene circuito de protección ? O que batería usaste ? Si usaste una de polímero de litio como la del vídeo no debería de haber problema. Revisa que todas las conexiones estén bien

Recuerda añadir silicona o algún aislante para no hacer un corto, en la foto no tenía aplicada la silicona para que se apreciará la conexión

I think you can for sure, do you need to first test continuity from the source ( mini motherboard ) to the speaker that is failing. Is highly possible that the culprit is the cable somewhere along the way

I just realized what it does wrong. my problem was opposite, right side was disfunction. The problem is that these super cheap clue of wires get melt and become liquid that disturb electrical circuits. Sweaty head melt super cheap clue so we have to replace these perfectly "fine" product to give Razer more money. Best solution is open your headset and blew it and move wires and remove unwanted clue in some places and you are good to go. We need better ventilation of those cups, hot air or hot head will melt super cheap clue and give us problems. I thought those are some $200 headsets, they using super cheap cancerous clue. YES THAT CLUE WITH INDUSTRIAL SMELL WILL GIVE YOU CANCER IF YOU INHALE IT LONG ENOUGH. diethylhexyl phthalate The chemical of that super cheap clue will give you cancer, it burns my nostrils after I open up Razers and "fix" the problem.

replique lo del video pero al cambiar la bateria por una 104050 li-ion, la placa de proteccion solo trae cables positivos y negativos (104050 batery) decidi intercambiar las placas de proteccion de las baterias de esa forma se pueden conectar los tres cables con la nueva bateria y asi funcionar de la misma forma que la bateria anterior. se necesita igual pasiencia y un poco de habilidad porque en el procedimiento se puede dañar la bateria ya que la placa de proteccion esta unida con soldadura de punto con la bateria asi que hay que usar fuerza para separar las conecciones y un cuchillo o algo filozo para hacer palanca y separar las partes luego en mi caso almenos solde la placa con la bateria con pasta y soldadura de estaño no hay que calentar mucho las partes ya que puedes dañar la bateria incluso se podria encender y provocar algun incendio. pero es posible hacerlo para que la aplicacion pueda ver el estado de la carga de la bateria y si se esta cargando no lo recomiendo la verdad por ser peligroso pero esta la opcion

Hola tengo los mismos audífonos pero hoy de la nada con cualquier ordenador cuando le conecto de manera inalámbrica , envía el sonido y al segundo se desconecta, de tal manera que ni en Windows me sale como si estuviera conectado. no tiene ninguna caída y los probé con los jack y si funcionan pero inalámbrica no, sabe a que se pueda deber?

La verdad si dura más que la anterior pero no sabria decirte cuanto, digamos que la primera no alcanzaba a jugar todo el día sin que se descargara y con esta llevo horas jugando y no he tenido que cargarla así que es un buen indicativo. Recuerda que la original es de 1200mah y la que le puse es de 2000mah, lo cual supone una mejora del 66.6%

Razer is the worst peripheral company. I have many products from them failing. My razer nari had the volume wheel fail after 2 years. I had one razer epic naga failing after 1 year, been through 3 razer vipers. Each time there was something else failing clicks, scroll wheel, wireless connectivity, etc, etc. All my friends have problems with their razer products as well. I have decided to never ever buy anything from them again, and I suggest to everyone to do the same !!!!! RAZER IS SHIT !!!!

I have had the experience that they CAN last a pretty long time if you are careful with them. But that goes for all products i suppose. Ive had one of my Mamba Elites fail on me, and bought a pair of Hammerhead Pros, i really like them BUT, they have stopped working TWICE within a year, luckily i bought them from a local store so i didnt have to go through razers horrible support to get a new pair.
