I hate razer but i have a reason for it. Everytime i buy a razer prodoct it is broken. I have bought 2 razer electra , 1 Razer Kraken and a keyboard. Lucly the keyboard was the only good one since it work but there are still some problems with the lights. On the otherhand the razer electra started great for the first 1 hour after that they started disconected...and after 2-3 months they died...I took another set and the same thing happened. In addition my friends bought them too and he had the same problems... After that i got the razer Kraken which their sound aquality was really bad and the mic was just the worst. I tried to play games but when something happeneds like a fight or gun shots they stop working and after 1 min they start again. It happenes to every game amd it sucks. But even worst is their mic. Just the worst of the worsts. It have bad recording, weird noises everytime i speak and it also have a fricking button which is suposed to mite the mic but for sone reason even when the mic is closed or even removed they record the voice of what you are watching or playing which means i cant watch a video while i am on a call with some1 unless if i remove the set!!!!!.Also just saying i have a new and powerful computer so the pc its not the problem. If any1 from the razer see this pls contact with me cuz i spend like 200 on items which dont work

At 0:21, they plug in the Razer Seiren X but that's a USB Mic so how were they able to plug it into the 3.5 mm audio jack of the Ripsaw HD?? It makes no sense, did they release one that has a 3.5 mm audio cable?

@@winter263 u clearly didn't read what I said. I'm not saying that the Seiren X doesn't have a 3.5 jack, it does. I'm saying how were they able to connect it to the 3.5 audio jack of the capture card if the mic itself is a USB mic meaning it has no 3.5 audio cable. They never show it and it's really sketchy..

The 3.5mm on the Seiren X is for mic monitoring but it'll work like a normal mic if you connect it to a 3.5mm input/mic jack. Though you'll need a 3.5mm male to male cable

First, would I need one of these for recording gameplay and audio on pc? Not streaming, but just recording good, 1080p, 60 fps gameplay with audio. I saw in the video that you need a streaming and gaming pc, but I only have one pc. I am thinking about getting into making KZbin videos, and I'm new to this kind of thing. I am heavily invested into the Razer ecosystem, I have a Razer mouse, keyboard, mousepad, headset, speakers, and even their rgb headset stand, so this is the main capture card I'm looking at. Second, could I record Nintendo Switch/Xbox gameplay with one of these? For my channel I might record some BOTW 2 when it comes out. Thanks and have a great day.

Jacob Priebe Hey man, since no one else responded to you I hope the knowledge I have may help you. No, you do not need a capture card if you’re going to be specifically only recording gameplay and audio on PC. You would only need this if you were wanting to record gameplay from a console. If you’re wanting to just record your gameplay w/ audio from a single PC, you will just need to have a software to record your gameplay, such as OBS (Open Broadcast Studio) or X Split (which to fully use XSplit, you will have to pay a subscription, I suggest using OBS unless you have the means to pay for a premium sub to use XSplit). Hope this helps you a bit man and good luck with your content.

Jacob Priebe And to add to what I said, If you don’t know why people use a dual PC setup for both streaming and gaming, it’s mainly to take a lot of stress off of the CPU, so your streaming PC handles your streaming software, having your browser open for your streaming platform (KZbin, Twitch, etc.) without putting all of that stress on your gaming rig CPU, hence the need for a capture card to pick up the video capture from your gaming rig. To reiterate, if you are wanting to record gameplay from a console, such as Xbox, PlayStation or your Switch, you will need the capture card to act as the messenger from where the game is being played on to your recording software.

Since I often use my Elgato hd60 as a way to use my pc as a screen when playing switch games )i only have a single monitor in my apartment and no room for a second lol= I dont really feel like as if the Ripsaw could really add anything to it that i would want.
