I've had an Elite controller, an Elite Series 2 controller, and the Razer Wolverine Ultimate controller. My elite acquired stick drift just after 3 month warranty, the grips practically were falling off within 4 months, and buttons/paddles were hit or miss registering after 4 months as well. Didn't have an issue with grips on series 2, but it had the same completely random bursts of stick drift until a deadzone of max still had it. All this was also just after the 3 month warranty closer to 5-6 months. I've had no issues however with the wolverine ultimate besides if you loose thumbsticks, good luck finding replacements. Also the button paddles do get loose over time, but I've had this current one for over 2 years with it still working almost completely like new. Game I mostly play is r6 for reference on intensity of use. Edit: forgot to add that the series 2 also had same button/paddle issues. It just has too much delicate things in it to be used in competitive scenes for long durations. I find r6 to be really good at killing my controllers. I use the extra buttons near the trigger as X and Y, with the top paddle buttons being thumbstick press for leaning, and bottom two as A and B. Allows me to forget about the face buttons completely with my thumbs.

Think it’s some sort of DIN port connector. Not sure though, they were in my gamecube controller too 😂 Honestly amazing video, I’d say maybe a little more broll since 90% of tech videos are based off from insane shots and cinematic views 🔥
@NPCLiam2 жыл бұрын
Is that it? I was thinking it was a PS2 port, and got really stoked cause I wouldn't have to use a USB, but yeah, it's not that lol - Thanks, man! Yeah I definitely agree. Shot B roll for like 3 hours, somehow still wasn't enough. Gotta get more in there for next time, no one likes a talking head.

Great video! Love the B-Roll and editing, awesome job! Still cannot believe this controller does not even have the option for wireless.

Thanks Tony! Appreciate it man - yeah for real though, super weird! I don't think any version of their wolverine controller has wireless either, it's not just this one.
@tonymollengarden2 жыл бұрын
@@NPCLiam Of course! Wow, that is so weird that none of them have wireless. Such a weird decision not to have any wireless options for a controller. Looking forward to the next video!

I have both elite 2 and Wolverine. The Wolverine I’ve used for 2 years and still going strong. Elite has had drift after 4 months.

I’ve had this for more than 3 years and here is what I think: 1. Not the best controller but not too bad. 2. Cable died in less than a year had to buy a micro usb cable. 3. Stick drift will happen. 4. Placement of read buttons could be improved if closer to the hand grip and not in the centre.
@Hulkachan8 ай бұрын
I have mine 2 years now 1. best controller that isn't a Vitrix gambit/xbox elite 2. Cable still going strong 3/ No stick drift 4. The buttons feel nice...just cant find replacements just incase i lose them.

I mean, I knew the Tiktok was lit but this video is pure fire! B-roll, music, pacing, honestly love it! In regards to the controller, never tried it, but loved the Elite Series 2 which this seems similar to. Only downside was the trigger sliders even on the shortest pull still didn’t feel like enough when comparing to my battlebeaver which has mouse click triggers!
@NPCLiam2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, man haha - we try! Definitely nice to have a better reason for spicy filming and more lengthy content. Yeah, it definitely does rival the series 2 at least in converstaion. I know people really don't like that the paddles on the Razer are in the middle, which they definitely are a bit of a reach if you want to use all four, the paddles on the series 2 do look like a nicer placement. Oh the triggers are mouse click too?? Now that's an interesting move haha
@Samdalabona2 жыл бұрын
@@NPCLiam yep, mouse click triggers on the battle beaver but it’s a paid add-on! Don’t think you can use them for racing games, which is why Scufs, Elite and the Wolverine have adjustable so you can play both

i want to buy Razer Wolverine Ultimate , but some people say that stick resistance is too low, its true? And even you set up deadzone in to 0 in games its stil have? wort it to buy?
@NPCLiam2 жыл бұрын
Yoo I saw your comment on TikTok as well right? I have to have my deadzone off zero because otherwise I do drift already, but I think you'll find that the case with most controllers after maybe a couple days of use anyway. Resistance is good for me! It's less than a DS4 but I like that for the type of games I bought this controller for.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT buy this controller. I bought this controller a few years back and it's been terrible. When it arrived it immediately had stick drift on the right stick. I was able to send it back and get a new one, but the new one arrived with stick drift on BOTH sticks, and they would not send me another replacement. Within a year, the A and X buttons stopped working. All of the paint for the buttons are now worn off. Both bumpers essentially spam their inputs a few times, so pressing RB or LB once presses it multiple times. My RB has officially stopped working entirely. These controllers are pieces of shit and are not worth the money.

ive had this controller for probably 6 years and been using it on and off the entire time. it has no problems to this day other than damage on the grip from me dropping it which doesnt affect anything. maybe i just got a good one but this controller has been awesome.
