This has been years coming for me, I've been searching for the AES version for the last 5 years so I'm actually a little more excited for this release than I was for Crimzon Clover. Hopefully the digital release will follow soon but as of the recording of this video a digital version is not on the Nintendo eshop. Also someone in my comments said something about this being made by the same team that worked on Ghost Blade ( I can see the similarities) anyway get all catch up in the comments.

I downloaded Super XYX on a new laptop (at the time) about 8 or 9 months ago, I got the game on Steam and it booted fine, after that the game would not boot, I have no idea why??? Hopefully they got that issue fixed because I really wanted to play more of that shooter, apparently its the true vision of what Neo XYX wants to be. We need to vioce up and make that happen, the developer is Team Grybanser Fox incase you want to take to social media

The cover art does look pretty sweet, almost the same the the original cover art on the Japanese aes release, the US cover art had way less going on but still cool.

Got my standard edition in the mail the other day, will be playing it soon! I believe this was not ported to Dreamcast because Neo XYX got heavily pirated and that bug in the Dreamcast version of Neo XYX also didn't help things!

@@TheDannylarson Yeah, sometimes these events are pretty messed up. I like the new system of open pre-orders like Limited Run does. That is fair for everybody to get a copy.

I like how limited run does that too (I usually wait tell the last day of the preorder 🤣) it took them awhile to get to that point also retro stores in my area gets most limited run releases in store for retail which is cool

@@TheDannylarson Finally got my copy (no.41). Pretty happy to got one with all the scalpers out there. (Ebay prices up to 250€ in Germany.) Next physical-only after ESP Ra.De. By the way, yesterday was the Mushihimesama digital release on Nintendo eShop. And I guess next month Switch physical release of Kamui in South-Korea (available on Playasia).

Probably won't be a digital release, but NG Dev said they are considering a second print since these sold out so fast. They are also going to sell the "b stock" they had set aside as replacements, it's stuff with slight imperfections on the packaging. Won't be many, but they're going to be sold in July.

They would deff benefit from a second print run, I know their was a few people like myself who wanted either a aes or mvs cart but could not afford (or find) it. I don't understand why they wouldn't do a digital release??? God that sucks, ngdev must not like money, I always wondered why they never ported this to the Dreamcast?

@@TheDannylarson Yeah I don't really understand their business approach. It was one thing having super limited runs of their AES and Dreamcast games, but would make a lot more sense to do open pre-orders for their Switch games, especially if they won't do digital anymore.

Bro I been dreaming about this game getting ported, for some reason everyone keeps saying that their will be no digital release??? Thats crazy, this game is gunna end up costing as much as a Saturn RPG if they don't drop the game digitally.

If the game, manual and soundtrack are there then I'm happy, it kind of blows my mind that the Aleste Collection didn't include a soundtrack with the collectors edition, even after that got that compile team together for GG Aleste 3, what makes matters worse is the ost is AWESOME!!! M2 totally messed up with that one in my opinion, also it was $200 retail!!! No ost is some BS

I think the digital release will show up soon, similar in what happened with Ultracore. I had a physical copy of that game for about 9 months before the digital version came out.

It would be cool to see the bosses come out of the right side of the screen a little more, also the bullet patterns are similar on alot ofcthe bosses, I do like the bullet canceling but I think its present in the aes/mvs og version, overall I do like razion ot and can't wait to see their new hd shooter

The Neo Geo AES copy is always the best because it's arcade Perfect on Neo geo just like gun Lord was the best copy on Neo geo aes the sound is much better louder awesome heavy duty much better then any other system Neo geo dogtag🎮🕹😀👍🏾
