super bench!!! not complaining because the team is growing and these things must happen especially when you lose experience, and some players to injuries. but the coaching staff have done the first phase well to win this test despite the odds. experience gained. lots of room to improve, but winning when the conditions are like this shows the heart of the boys. Despite our lineouts didn't work well tonight, the scrum dominated THIS SERIES, especially the reserve forwards. Both TESTS were answered from ALL reserves. This is a TEST series to prove it is a 23 man game NOW. Ratima did GREAT on debut. Christie was good also. Especially Christie's defence due to his stature. Christie REALLY THROWS HIS BODY INTO TACKLING. Mckenzie has fully stepped up to TEST match rugby. Beauden's play as a reserve is the right thing to do. He's REALLY changed the flow of TEST match rugby. Not only his attack, but in one play tonight, his defence to prevent an English try was important. Viewers have been mouthing off at Ioane for being a centre. He is a defender now and his combination with Jordie is DOING FINE. The English COULDN'T break through BOTH OF THEM in this series. For the English, Itoje played GREAT. Marcus Smith did VERY WELL also.

There is new staff coaching all blacks and only 2 weeks together so normal the mistakes. Borthwick has a settled team , it is the difference. In November, you will see the real all blacks beasts with team settled and the 23 players différents. In November, all blacks will be scary.

Beauden F’n’ Barrett. Turned that game, make no mistake. Until that point there was lots of effort but no real sense of game management in response to the English gameplan. What a wasted last six years we’ve endured if we’re still thinking the rush defence is going to wilt in the face of the traditional carry game. If it’s not been obvious before, surely now we can all admit that good at Super is not good enough at Test.

If the All Blacks want to improve their line out and physical driving game up front, they should consider two things. Firstly, move Scott Barrett to Blindside Flanker for at least part of the game. This strategy has been well used for several years and Barrett’s height and power in the role (with Vaa’i coming into lock) is significant. Secondly, consider a 6-2 split where more ball carrying forwards - like Sititi or Blackadder can be brought into the mix too.

All three of our locks are grunters they are not line out leapers. Sam Darry needs start.He is 6ft 8 ins and he is great in the line outs. Itoje absolute destroyed the All Blacks in the line outs. The great All Black teams of old didn't beat the big teams by big scores very often and often came from behind to win. BUT the won, and that is what matters. Only 2 games in, but this team is looking similar all ready. Absorb the pressure without falling too far behind then run ahead in the final 20 with better subs and fitness

I want to hear someone aknowledging the fact that the AB's lacked fast recyling at the base of the scrum, until a replacement halfback came on in the second half of the second test. Obviously, Aron Smith isn't replaceable, but allowing any team to set thier defence, especially when they are implimenting a rush defence, is akin to smashing your hgead against a brick wall.

No one expects a rugby player to be particularly articulate, but for two guys who frequently face off against the rugby world media, I thought their performance was poor. England played well, and could easily have triumphed, why not admit the obvious? Still all in all a good win for the AB, but give credit to an emerging force. England earned Mana with their efforts and can feel unlucky not to have come away with a drawn series. A gutsy win for the ABs,nervy start for razor and dog roll, I hope once dog roll gets more Mana as Captian he will talk more to the Ref, Sexton, Farrell and Fitzpatrick are just a few examples of why this is probably the Captians most important job England earned Mana with their efforts and can feel unlucky not to have come away with a drawn series. Stephen Perofeta was the 3rd best NZ fullback in Super Rugby, and for some reason is the starting FB for the ABs with mixed results? BB paired with Love or Stevenson would be much more potent.

What rubbish these two are talking. Until Beauden Barrett came on the field this team of average players were totally leaderless and clueless , played the game like a team with a bad game plan and made many basic mistakes. Both winger's were shown up as flawed tactically and too many senior players gave away unnecessary penalties at crucial times ( Taylor and the captain ). B Barrett and Ratima basically saved the game. I was disappointed , but not surprised ,at the lack of leadership.

AB was staying and fighted great against great English.... watched wallabies - jimru then u saw why both teams made lots points... most was about given away🙉 Real kiwi never give up mentality we get to enjoy. . Cracy fast genious last twenty minutes from AB showed kiwi rugby at best. ..

Lots of improvement needed ; both tries could have been defended better . Needs to rotate more players : using the same team allows the opposition to develop a game plan ; but one has to blood players . Kicks still not contestable ! How about a quick penalty or play instead of the same old stop and allow the opposition to regroup ! Look what a quick kick off gained ground for them, caught ABs sleepwalking!
