I've sharpened a few knives on the Proyan Taidea 240 and 3000. They do not measure up to Japanese water stone quality. They are too soft, slow, thirsty, not flat, and load easily. King Deluxe is higher quality for a similar budget.

They are definitely a stone that the quality control is hit or miss. I agree, they are soft for what they are, not flat out of the box and thirsty (as this one was here) but once I lapped it down several times it started to perform better. You shouldn't have to lap them like that to get good results, but I was fine with it as I already had it. This one is the 2000 of course, and I realied the micron rating is actually closer to 3k, which is why it polished the way it did. At this time it actually performs ok, but I agree, my King deluxe stones are my preference many times over other stones. I have a large King collection of stones actually. Some of my favorites are my King IceBear 6k and 8k, and my Hyper 2k!

So I looked it up, and if INTP means Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, and Perceiving that's interesting. I started life being extremely introverted, but as soon as I "found myself" I came out of my shell and loved being the center of attention / in the limelight. I have struggled with weight loss my entire life, and 14 years ago lost 120 lbs on my own. I felt "human" again. Lately, over the last couple years I have been recovering from a car accident, and put weight on again, but didn't lose "me". I am extremely intuitive, I over think to the point that sleep escapes me most of the time or I get up early (like today lol) and I am extremely perceptive as well. Very interesting you were able to pick that up from my video! I am now deep diving into this and watching these videos. Thanks for watching my video and seeing this and recommending the CS Joseph channel!
