If you carry it on your back and you want to do your quick/fastdraw, you can pull down on the strap til the topend of the sheath bends over your shoulder, that wil open the topend of the sheath and drawing is possible from that position.

If you want to take that rough burr on the edge people say to use files to take it down I was afraid if I tried that on my katana machete it might ruin the edge that is already there so what I did was (it took a bit of time and patience mind you to get all the burrs of this way) with the sharpening rod in our common knife rack I ran it down the blade several times towards the edge like a strop and using wet paper napkins wiped the sharpening steel down and the edge down to remove the steel particles that built up while removing the burr and when the edge no longer caught on my fingernail on either side anywhere anymore I started to work the edge like a strop using the steel rod on the whole grind of the edge alternating sides each time and using less and less force each time it smoothed the grind edge out as well as putting a killer sharp edge on it easier with the thia machete cause there is no secondary edge bevel. but i will tell you this I am a horrible sharpener and this was fairly easy to do even for me...

I meant off take the burr off and the sharpening rod i'm referring to was a kitchen knife block that has a whole kitchen knife set the steel sharpening rod that came in it and comes with most of them most people have them in there kitchen anyways so it's not hard to find and if you don't it like 4 or 5 dollars at places like bed bath and beyond. it's so easy to do anyone can if you just take your time as go it will get sharp fast and easy.

Damn it seems lower quality than I thought. Looked really nice when I saw it on ebay.
@erikvandam56859 ай бұрын
Quality of the blade is really good for the price, if you want it to look more expensive you can work on it yourself a bit. Making a sheath is not that difficult. The edge is also easy to sharpen. It really is worth the price, have fun with it.

@@erikvandam5685 I did get it but like most of the knives and stuff I've purchased they are never used lol. I use only like 2 for utility reasons.

They seem to be S&W replicas , I bought a military knife from china then a week later I saw a Basspro AD selling an Identical S&W for $20

Wow looks mean I thi k mine are made j Africa I have the panga the heavy machete, the original not the 2 handed or the heavy duty model. And my favorite us the kukri.now I see they make a Chinese warsword machete .its good for outdoors. But fir close quarters like if someone entered in my bathroom I prefer the kukri..1 nice flick of the wrist in the throat and ur done.

RaZoRChak lmoa you got ripped off. extac.australia seller on ebay selling em for $65 inc. postage. thanks for the video, will be buying one now :)

kadiche Lol yes I did pay a little extra, because even though extac sold it for cheaper, they didn't have any in stock for the past 2 months, hence I purchased from tiptopshop. I've bought a lot from extac before, and as I had mentioned in my previous videos, they're very good too :)

For all their advertisement and glorifying their products I'm a little disappointed by the poor quality of the handle as well as that the blade isn't completely clean. I understand that the edge itself is usually never perfect when buying a sword/machete but expected higher quality of the rest although I'm sure it's durable and will deliver wht they promised it just hurts my eyes a little bit ^^ Especially since I hate handles that are poorly smoothed. Just feels wrong when grabbing them
@stalememe64078 жыл бұрын
well i gotta say that the reason why it isn't clean is because the oil makes dust stick to it but htne again if you don't have the oil it could rust
