Yes! That means a lot to me! 😂❤ I am a total outsider to this world. I’ve been a guitarist for all my life. This is my first electronic/synth instrument. I grew up loving stuff like Erasure and NIN and KMFDM and Kate Bush was my first musical influence. But I’ve always made guitar based music until a year and a half ago; so I know NONE of the “rules” of techno😂… I really love how much fun it is to sequence projects on this instrument. I have to really work in guitar playing at some point so y’all can see I do know what I’m doing on at least one instrument. Haha😂 thank you so much🎶👍💗

@@karibunn the really catchy bit that goes from low to high from The Prodigy's Invaders Must Die is just going up a simple pentatonic scale in the key of C. I have a funny story about how I was working on new stuff for a band and accidentally put that in my song before realising "I cannot write that, that's been written before and would be plagiarism", still a lot of fun to play though
@karibunnАй бұрын
@@Anaki_Robhahaha that’s kinda how I feel taking credit for Yves’ work!

@@karibunn play pentatonic scales and that's most of them :) indeed I have never heard of decatonic scales but surely they can exist too ;)

@@phodder hahaha thank you!! I asked Yves if it was something like the KLF in an “educated” guess - I barely know the electronic music world but I’m a lifelong guitarist and songwriter…. But he confirmed that it actually is inspired by an old KLF song!!! Haha😂🎶❤️ thank you so much for listening!!!🤘🏻
