I’d look into a Walter flap disc when you have to replace it... but.... Walter disc are orange too... but I have heard from some fab guys that they are awesome... but that looks like a good one... and I think you said that the disc one the main grinder has been good... I’m really considering getting one of these sharpeners... well.. just the 712... but they make a grinder... the 750... that is the disc and that side grinder... the 934 is this kit... ... yeah.. you got it... ( just heard you) 👍🏼

Great video looking into buying the 934 or 950 i don’t have much mulching blades but thought I should just spend the money to have it if I need it In the future.

Thanks for video, I don't know about this set up. Seems like an after thought and the flap sander disk leaves a convex edge which is less than ideal. Are you still happy with this set up or should one get the MAG - 8000 instead for a few more bucks?

I have sharpened hundreds of blades so far and I am quite happy with it.

Thanks for your video. On your cart you mounted it on, did you put it at the bottom of the cart bc of the weight?

No, it was where I wanted it so I could sit down while sharpening blades. It's not too heavy to be on top of a table or workbench.

so with that 750 attachment .... is the 30 degree angle still there or close to there

It is just an attachment so the 30 degrees sharpener is not effected.

I've got to get me one of those sharpeners I'm still using a grinder method for now. It works and it was cheap, but I can definitely save some time with that bad boy

@@HandyGuy2016 are they worth the price of these sharpeners? I’m thinking of putting one of those mini crane arms/small electrical winch.. on the front corner of my trailer.. to raise the mower... but.... might also get the Ballard mower lift... they have a new model.

@@Jlinwoodjackson It paid for it's self the first season, because I was paying to have blades sharpened. I wanted to do it myself, just didn't have time but with it I can do all my blades at one time and it makes quick work of it.

So if there isn't an angle guide with the flap disk, why not save the money and just put a flap disk on your angle grinder?

I have used angle grinder flap discs and I still prefer this setup for saving time and for consistency.

I know this is an old post but that machine needs to be up on top of the bench to properly sharpen blades, i could see the way your hands were holding the blade that you were in an uncomfortable position.

It works great for me, I have used it for a full season now and it has outlasted quite a few angle grinder flap discs and it saves time.
