Opening of season 2 (opening 3) is one of my favorite anime openings even after 15+ years watching anime, the more japanese you know, better the opening gets. When the lyrics have the lil "stop" before the break down and subaru runs they go "Heading for the future we sought, I'll support all of you, and show I can make it all the way there" and flashing in japanese on the screen it can be translated to "I would die many times to save you"/ or "If is to save you I don't care if I die" (キミを救えためならオレは何度具も死ぬ) everything visually and musically in this music hits so perfect with this season and with re:zero in general.

There's a reason the singer for season 2 opening 2 sounds familiar. She used to be in Myth & Roid. She was the singer on season 1 ending 1 and season 1 opening 2. Between seasons 1 and 2 she went solo. So the season 3 ending has a different singer.

7:22 It was used once at the end of Season 1 after the subjugation. But before that it was used in ep 23 and it hit me SO HARD in the heart. **SPOILERS** When Subaru saved the village and Emilia from the Witch cut and killed Petelgeuse, but his spirit took control over Subaru's body so he ran off into the forest. There Subaru asked Julius and Felix to end his life, and the ending song stops as Subaru dies and the scene changes to Emilia turning around to look at the forest where he just died. You must to react on Made in Abyss OST's!!! All of them is literally bangers and masterpieces! My favorite OST's is: 1. VOH. 2. Prushka Secuince 3. Transcendence and Hanazeve 4. Tozo Hanoline 5. Rumble of the scientific triumph 6.Hanazeve Caradhina They all really good so if you haven't listened and reacted to it yet I bet you'll being really surprised by it. Hope you'll enjoy it!
