i have one query sir.. in circular 4, the incentive we are getting aginst submitting the mutilated note is rs 2 per note.. now if i tear 100 note intentionally and then submit it to RBI that means RBI will give me Rs 200 for free... ???

100 (rs) note or 100 notes... So main last wle se explain kru...toh agr tum 100 notes tear krdoge...toh 200 milenge...but unn 100 notes ki value...200 se jaada hogi...if 10 rs denominated hai..toh rs 1k....

@@amritanshgautam5136 Sorry but I guess u got confused sir... RBI will give the same amount of money against defective note plus it will give extra rs 2 as an incentive per note .. else you think as a customer if i go to bank for exchanging a defective note then what do you think bank will exchange that defective note from their pocket ... they collect that mutilated note and sent it to currency chest and in return they got an incentive of rs 2

@@SourabhKumar-du5uv 10 rs ka mutilated note hai...usko exchange kra bank ne...toh usko 12 milenge... Yhi hai na.... Then 10 rs rbi will print...n 2 rs incentive hua... N yh hr din nhi hai..limit hai on customers ki ek baar mein kitna exchange kra skte hai.....n every mutilated note nhi hote exchange...chest wle wapas bhi kr dete hai...
