Just at the hint of moderation of Inflation, RBI effects rate cut. But, however much the inflation rises, RBI keeps the reduced interest rate well protected for the benefit of the owners of the Government.

RBI is destroying many households with its low interest rates- providing cheap money to businessmen and reducing the MIP income for senior citizens while letting inflation run crazy. So most middle/lower-middle income people are getting negative real returns, earning lesser while spending more and more...

The people of Karnataka are struggling with too much public money looting and middle class and lower middle class are the biggest hit because of Corruption in the system. Close to Rs 2,400 crores of public money not reached the depositors yet. The middle class families purely depends on bank interest to run their life and when co operative societies loot general public, where they should go? Many people representatives came and showed their face when people came to protest and said they will ensure everyone will get their deposits back. But till now there is no one to support 20,000+ people and their families. The COVID19 situations had made situation worst at their homes and 39+ depositors also lost their lives struggling to fight the battle. People save money so that they can utilize for emergency needs, but here in this case, they had money but they cant take money when needed!! Senior citizens are struggling and state govt, central government and co operative societies what they are doing to protect the depositors?? When will they get their money back?? Depositors don't know what police doing in their investigation and absolutely zero silence from everyone. Depositors are planning to PROTEST online against the injustice done to them with world wide coverage where 20,000+ depositors and their son/daughters and family members joining the protest very soon. For few percentages more must not keep money in co-op banks. At least unknown and dubious co.op banks. Ultimately they do not blame their greed but they start blaming Governments. Co.op banks function in a different way. They always resist when Govt tries to bring them under full control of RBI. Always keep watch on the balance sheet and regular activities of bank if you know co.op accounting policies. Read audit reports carefully.
