Nirmala tai has nothing to do with tax rates and agriculture, but she will unnecessarily pressurize RBI to reduce repo rates. These ministers are asking RBI to cut rates but they are doing nothing to increase agriculture produce. Good rainfall could curb rising food inflation, but it is not done overnight. RBI wants to wait for a reduction in inflation and there is nothing wrong with it.

well fiscal policy do contribute towards inflation but monetary policy like Repo rate, reverse repo rate, bank rate, Government securities, margin requirements, legal reserve ratio (CRR and SLR) and other qualitative methods like moral suasion contribute more towards controlling inflation.
