Nothing better then watching some big steam rolling down the line. Seeing the Big Boy and Challenger gives me some ideas when I get my brass hybrid light "hotdog" Challenger and vision line grayhound Big Boy. I'm going to need more freight cars. The DM&IR Yellowstone, Black Bonnet 2-10-10-2, Pennzy S1 and, a UP Heavy Challenger are on the collection wishlist, along with the midnight chief passenger cars. Great video as always, keep'em rolling.

You certainly put on a great show of your steam locomotives and your collection is impressive. My all time favorite articulated is the C&O Allegheny. I have a Sunset 3rd Rail late Allegheny in O scale, cab no. 1647. I am not a fan of the C&O standard single note freight whistle. The DM&IR Yellowstone is my second favorite articulated. I have several recordings of those engines and love their chime whistles. They were impressive! Thanks for all your efforts and I look forward to future videos.

Very nice. You know that some of your rolling stock wouldn't have been heard of or created then to accompany your steam engines. The Chessie System was a merger of the Western Maryland, The C&O and the B&O Railroads. They later became the CSX after merging with the Seaboard Coastline of Florida. If realism is at hand. Keep on trucking...

I just discovered your channel by accident. You have an absolutely spectacular layout. It totally blew my mind watching this video. The cinematography was awesome. I can’t even imagine how much time and effort it took to build your layout let alone the cost of your trains, and the layout is extremely well done, and I can’t tell you how much pleasure it was watching this video. your sound effects are incredible. I remember the Christmas I got an electric train and how much fun it was and how we had it under the tree every year but that’s as far as it went I used to love to go to the hobby store, and look at the trains, but I never got into it. Your video brings back. Lots of memories of how much fun and how spectacular your hobby is. Thank you so much. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you for sharing them.

I think you really have to love Lionel and 3 rail O scale in general when there's 2 rail O scale which is such a realistic scale to model... In my opinion of course!

Hi Chris: I enjoyed watching this video with the big steam engines. I'm from Minnesota and i was particularly interested in the Yellowstone. I am planning on seeing the real Big Boy in Cheyenne, Wyoming this summer. I would also like to go and see the real Yellowstone locomotive in Duluth this summer. It should be fun. Wayne Howard

Awesome video! I just wait for your videos to come out even thro I'm into S scale. Love the radio tower. But you should have included a W to it.

Thanks @Life with Roscoe! I have a "W" on standby in case I get too many comments about the Radio Tower. I liked the look of just having the "RBP" letters so I kept it that way....for now :)

What an awesome video Chris!! It’s hard to imagine all the work you put into making it. And all the smoke fluid used too!! BTW, what brand and flavor of smoke fluid do you prefer? I would have to say my favorite articulated engine is N&W 2-6-6-2 Mallet. Thanks again for posting another great video! Keep up the good work.

Thanks Mike! I was constantly chasing the engines with my smoke fluid dropper, haha! I use MTH (Christmas Scent) and Lionel Premium smoke fluid in the engines. Nice choice on your fave engine as well!
