It's stages like this that the dirt rally games really lack and it kinda saddens me, some of the coolest scenes of rally are seeing cars blast through tight narrow roads in some rural European village in the hills or mountains but basically all of dirt rally 1 and 2 are just random roads that go to nowhere, this is also something I think some of the wrc games do better but they have their own issues

You are right. But even if DR 2.0 has that kind of stages, You won't never feel it like RBR. Tarmac in DR 2.0 is really crab

Dirt rally 2.0 are WRC real stages, they changed the special stage and city names

​@@cookinbananas they slso changed all the roadside terrain and objects into unrecognisable fantasylands and made the roads twice as wide as they really are. (Just compare Baumholder stages to the real Panzerplatte stage)

Praise the devs. They have already done almost all of it 20 years ago. It's not a coincidence that RBR was picked up by modders to mod the shit out of it, base game is epic.

This game is aboslutely insane. I just tried it for the first time. I felt the different in FFB pretty stark between Dirt Rally 2.0 & the WRC titles. This one is on another level. KICKS LIKE A MULE! Is it normal though when I leave my steering wheel alone when the car is still the steering starts rocking faster and faster. lol

2:15 I love the wide open areas! Don't see a lot of that in RBR. It really contrasts with the times you're in tight streets surrounded by buildings and fences. I'm sure I would drive way too fast in the open area and crash as soon as there was a corner, lol. You're really good at slowing down for the hairpin corners and accelerating again after.

@@peadookie I just yesterday read the manul on the pacenote plugin that comes with the RSF installer. And if you double left click with your mouse while on a stage. It opens the pacenote menu. The first dropdown that reads default.inin or something if you change it to Numerical.ini. Boom. The pacenotes will be 6 Left, 3 Right, etc. The quality is nowhere near this plugin though, since there is I believe a mix of 2 co-driver voices when you do it this way.

wow this game is better than Dirt 2.0. So much rally stages and it has VR support. im a hardcore VR racer but never thought RBR has vr mode. i've seen graphic mod called P.O.R.N 3.0 but can it work on all stages?

I don't use any ENB or shader presets. The graphic is just default. but I use my own custom sounds. and you can change camaera angle whatever you want if you use RBR pacenote plug ins.

So you were driving with that view? Cause if RBR/RSF is trying to be a true sim there should be only cockpit view like iRacing - I mean the only thing youre simulating here is what a bug on top of windscreen would see!

You can set your camera view whatever you want. My view is onboard recording roof top camera.

Is it just me or does anyone else hate the NGP? The diff seems like it would be from a normal road car.. I mean I just can't do handbrake turns in the hairpins. It's either understeer or oversteer and spin. Feels like the car is fwd but when you put it sideways enough it suddenly becomes rwd. It may be just the setup but I need some help.

Well, I usually use default setup. but it's good enough for me. and I don't use Axis handbrake. (I just use button) So you just need many practice... Before use handbrake, slow down enough and do counter steering.

If you are used to drive in DIRT RALLY 2.0, foreget about it. DR 2.0 is not even sim. Feel like FWD? Gain more speed. Feel like RWD? Don't use handbrake there or keep in mind counter steering and speed.

@@mngsnd What I was used to was the RSRBR and the vanilla physics which felt perfect in every car and I haven't touched any of the setups once. These new physics in comparison feel almost undrivable when sliding the car around.

Try flicking the steering form one side to the other to reduce traction, lifting off the throttle midway through the turn also helps

@@renzogudino1784 de requisitos no necesitas un pc de la nasa, pero pide mas de lo que parece. Mi pc tiene una rx 460 de 4 gb de vram y un procesador no muy bueno y lo tira bastante bien. El espacio que ocupa es más que nada por la cantidad de autos y tramos

Sure it's not as flashy as dirt rally 2.0. But this game is about the physics, cars and the stages. If you are searching for a realistic Rally Sim this is some of the best you'll get.
