Good video. I've take a few radiators out of Camrys but now coming up on an Avalon (2004, in fact). Easy to follow and your dialog was like you were talking to a group of friendly people. Thanks for the video!

Your video was very helpful and straightforward!! I only had one question at the end what do you mean by letting the air out? And does that come before or after I add the antifreeze?
@RBTheMechanic2 жыл бұрын
After u put the antifreeze just let the car run it will burp it self and then let the car cool off and u can add more coolant nothing big deal on this Toyota there will be air in the system but it will come out just need to let it run for a bit and the recheck coolant level

@RBTheMechanic25 күн бұрын
Nope top off the fluid and then burp it which is simple just let it idle once’s it’s filled up and then let it cool down and recheck it top it off. This Toyota is friendly

Nice. How you get the right radiator. Mine a 2002 3.0 XLS Avalon. I’m bout to do a live stream. It has two radiators. wtf. I don’t think it’s this easy 😂. I’ll keep you posted. Great video and to the point. Good stuff. Got a like a sub from me sir. Appreciate your hard work.

U might have to measure the thickness
@TourettesMobileMechanic2 ай бұрын
@ I got it right. 5/8 of an inch. Tiny AF. I put the VIN into all data. I was able to cross reference the AutoZone part number. . For real though. You ain’t BSn. This was the easiest radiator ever lol. I spent some extra time cleaning up everything to do a live stream of the re install. It’s my girls car so I like to hook her up. Since I work on it all the time I prep plugs and stuff for future work. I’ll post it today or tomorrow. I could have done it honestly in 30 minutes with bleeding the system included in that time lol.
@TourettesMobileMechanic2 ай бұрын
@ he’ll. I may go ahead and bust it out now. Let me see how much time I’m working with. I have to get that Hemi done. Thanks again. I enjoy your videos. I’m a kinetic learner so I watch them all the time to go along with my other research. I work on lots of cars like yourself so you know how that goes is always someone who knows extra tips that are helpful. And they may even have a few extra tips on this Avalon to make it easier. FYI. I did not have to remove the upper radiator hose on the passenger side either if I did not want to I could’ve squeezed it out. I had plenty of room on my Avalon… 🙏 💯 👏
