RC Boat - Diva - Cabin Cruiser

Diva is a Cabin Cruiser offered as model kit by Aeronaut. The construction is entirely made from wood and ends in an awsome little yacht.
The scale of approx. 1/20 is ideal for including also some nice features. Albert Tischhauser, who built this model did exactelly this with the result of a superb model.

+mark brown Thanks! Yes you are right. Albert is cruising nice and smoothly. But it was also the almost perfect location for the video shots which have been taken by our club member Frank.

What I think is impressive is the hull design. It appears to be a planning design...it seems the stern might be a little narrow. It rides a little bow high at full throttle and plows water. Perhaps might consider some ballast fore of the CG/CB or a small trim plane off the transom. A very nicely done model. A good video. I like the figure in the cockpit.

I think it is a fair model to start with. Most of the model kits from Aeronaut a pretty simple in the construction and since it is all from wood the techniques required a not "rocket sience". Never the less the models are very beautiful and recommendable.

This is a model kit from Aeronaut. Unfortunatelly the are not allowed to be copied as of copyright reasons. But the kit are really affortable and can easily by order via internet. Just search for "Aeronaut Diva".

Old video I know but I just stumbled on it. That's a beautiful model and runs very nice. Something mesmerizing about watching that little boat cruising around the pond. Looks like a peaceful little pond to run RC boats.....though I'm sure my RC boats would NOT be welcome there.

Ich frage mal nach bei Albert. Allerdings bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass es ein gewöhnlicher Bürstenmotor ist, vermutlich ein Speed Motor aus der Baureihe 400 oder 480. Das ist letztlich ein so leichtes Modell, da reicht ein einfacher Motor. Ein Brushless wäre definitiv etwas über das Ziel hinaus geschossen, da es einfach nur teurer wird aber eigentlich nix bringt.
