Hey bro love the vids learning alot and you don't speed thru stuff so if I have to look it up again while working on one I can easily replay the section! You have no idea how great that is most of these other boat guys try speed through without explaining what and why they are doing it!

I do have a question though I have a veles 29 i just got and I will be running 4s as often as 6s now I have the stock prop and stock flex shaft in it currently but have the ose upgraded flex shaft for my 6's runs with a dasaboata 1715 abc prop (prepped) now the question I have is a 2 parter 1. Is I bought 2 aluminium ose props one is a detounged 46mm 1.6 pitch and a 44mm 1.6 pitch rounded ears prop the question I have is is the what will the rounded ear do??? will it be safe for the 6s applications and 2. Is the detounged 46mm to much for 6s ??? (I mean to much for the motor and the shaft) and witch out of the 2 will probably be a faster prop on 4s??

The other thing is they should both be better on the motor as they weigh a fraction of the abc prop and the stock I believe stainless steel? Prop as both are much heavier then the aluminum props so will that help offset the larger 46mm detounged prop rotational strain on the flex shaft?? Or am I mistaken???

For a boat that size I always have been a fan of the octura 442

Two blade it's all around great prop especially 4 p mono class size boats

And all testing should be done with plastic props they're cheap and you could get a wide range of sizes start with the smallest first so you don't cook your batteries this is the Safeway to keeping all your stuff from burning up once you get to the size plastic prop that runs the boat well and doesn't overheat everything that's still not the size prop you need you go one size smaller in bronze stainless or aluminum because those props will put more strain on it than the plastic ones will always very smart to do that

@@KevinTodd alright man thanks 4 the info will giver a try i got it working good on some what fair water now stock with 4s and insane on 6s my next goal is to get another ose shaft for the other alum props and see which works best on what batteries the 4s or 6s and get an octura prop i did find out today to choppy of water will bog it down and it won't go on plane well just jumps right to skipping like a stone on the top of the waves but stays dang flat even on the tops of those waves but not good for much else... and eats those batteries up fast my new battle will be figuring out what to set the lipo alarms to to keep it from dropping the cells to 3.2v-3.5v... woops... lol good thing i got good batteries... i think the cheapos would puffy when you tried to bring up the charge lol!!

What did you do to the balancer to help it out?

I put the cones on my lathe indicated them and made corrections

@@KevinTodd I bought one and turned the cones down to almost nothing, about 1/4" diameter. I still like my old magnetic "Zero Gravity" balancer. I've had it for 30 years. Thanks for the 3 blade balancing tips. I'm doing an ABC 1814- 3 blade right now. I find that ABC props are much better castings than the Octuras. There is not much to take off from ABC props.
