RC Cantley - First Double Meeting

Good bit of racing, apart from getting a car, where do i start? I.e. do you have to be in the BRCA? Who gives you your race number? Do you supply your own transponder? Also i haven't got a club close to me so I'll have to travel can i just turn up at these rc clubs to race or do you have to be a club member? Sorry for the picking of your brains! Cheers

Kamtec Modelsport is where you can get full kits for the cars that you assemble that includes a shell you cut and fit, charger and controller and receiver, a transponder is separate but that makes the whole thing around 230. No brca membership needed and most of the clubs I've been to you can turn up and race, you have to give them the transponder number and pay entry fee and you can race.
