100% custom frame extension, bracing, and leaf mounts. Made out of some scrap aluminum and old axial c channel frame rails. Rear diff is an SSD diamond axle and leaf perches are from SCALE METAL SUPPLIES. Leaf springs were some off of amazon i believe.

Did you have any issues going with the SSD straight in the rear? Or does the diffs match where you dont have over/underdrive? trying to do the same with mine and mocking up leaf spring perches since they dont make them for the knightrunner kit

No issues at all with gear ratio, both axial and element are a 8/30 ring and pinion. I only went with the ssd axle based off of using the JEC leaf spring mounts.

I want to make a leaf spring rear trail runner? Will a scx leaf spring kit work with this?

Im not familiar with the scx leaf kit. But you can make anything work with everything with enough imagination and creativity.
