RC Drift Practice Day 1 - DARC Circuit

This is day 1 of RC drift practice @ Drift America RC. Although I have driven many RC cars, and even drifted my own S13, I wasn't too sure how this would go. So, I decided to record a few laps from each day of practice to give an idea of what I experienced while attempting to learn the art of RC drifting.
Day 1 for me, was meeting the guys at the Circuit and asking questions. Fortunately, I only really asked one question and several people were ready to help. Several hours later, and my suspension was very different from the start of the day. Watch as I show how the chassis assembled to factory specs, drifts without any adjustments to the suspension. You will then see another test after several hours of adjustments, including camber, toe out, shock mount locations, and preload. Thanks to the guys that have provided help, advice, put in their own time helping adjust my suspension setup and get me all dialed in to this point. It was a greatly productive day, I met many awesome people, and had an absolute blast. Hopefully, day 2 will be mostly driving!

Was the tuning just in the gyro, or did you need to tweak turning and throttle settings too? I honestly wouldn't even know where to begin.

In total, we tuned the gyro, reprogrammed the steering servo via USB/PC, adjusted the throttle and steering on the transmitter, and then adjusted the toe out to 5 degrees, set the front camber (forgot to what, don't have my own camber gauge yet), and moved the shocks from their stock angled position to more of an upright position. Then it was slight adjustments to the spring preload to adjust ride height and assist with holding the rear to a good angle without it oversteering into a spin too easily. Most of the day was tuning and adjusting, with brief moments of testing.
