@@Modellbaustammtisch yes - I just uploaded a couple more full flight vids. Some batteries need to be”break in” before they last longer for some reason.

Hi, is the feeling much different from the C159, taking in account they share the same dimensions? And which one is your favorite one? The C123 blue or the champagne? Another question: Which one would you pick if you had to choose just one. C 123 or C190? May I ask you to say your pros and cons between the 189 and 190?

@@skywalkerEA I like both the C123 and C190. But if you wanted to push me into selecting one, I would get the C123.

@@skywalkerEA the C189 and C190 share the same platform mechanics and head assembly. The difference is obviously the fuselage shell and the biggest difference is the tail drive - ducted fan simulation for a fenestron on the C190 and a traditional tail rotor on the C189. The C189 flies to 17min on a fresh new battery and the C190 maybe 10 to 12min due to the inefficiency in the tail design.

I wish RCERA would fix the pendulum issues on their c 189 and 190. They look great but not a favourite to fly .

@@winstonsmith7801 the issue I think is the inherent phase angle of the blades. It’s only noticeable when she flies slow going forward or rear and coming out of a hover.

I will be getting the c190 looks so scale, from other channel vids they suggest its the optical flow trying to reposition like an auto pilot. If unplugged it flies much better at lower flight speeds.

Saw a video from Andrej Sturm , and he advised that on those particular models to slightly rotate the flight control module inside the model left or right, whichever direction helps. He said the blades were out of phase and this will help to correct the issue. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kF7IoIZ4j7ypsMk

Curious if you were to Calibrate before flight. Sticks Down and Left if Optical Flow would be less drift without Trims? I Calibrate each RC Era before every flight. Never use trim. 😊

@@OHHP3712U I am not sure if that helps with optical flow issue,it calibrates the sensors in the gyro. But calibration never hurts.

Two different functions. Trim will level the gyro so that it hovers in place.

@@OHHP3712U it’s a good idea to do normal calibration with both sticks down and to the left before each flight. There are two ways to trim the heli. One is simply when flying and trimming and the other is entering the debug mode and trimming the swash to achieve a level hover. The latter is the preferred method.

@@jeffkraus1457 please watch my other video where I show how to debug the flight controller. The debugging procedure is nothing more than hovering the heli in that mode and trimming the swash to achieve a stable hover. It’s very simple and it works great.

@@Flight6677 Had to go back to RC ERA Again. Turns out HeliDirect App said was In Stock, when in reality they were only Pre-Order. So Cancelled Both Heli Orders and got Refunds. Banggood order would arrive 7/30 - 8/9. Too late. Ordered direct from ERA. They Shipped my Batt fast so hoping C123 will get here faster too. I have a local Demo Event on the 27th. 🤞🏻

Its a tossup. On some of the RC ERA helis it sometimes produces instability at low speed (C189 and C187) but it settles out. The YX helis like the F06 have better optical capability, but lack in other key performance criteria. So the RC ERA C123is super stable, with and without the optical flow IMO.
