Maybe because people don't want to be associated with slavery or something? Idk, I don't see a problem with swapping the rebel flag with an American flag. But so many people go with the rebel flag just to be inflammatory, not for any kind of accuracy to the show.

Just subscribed after watching this. The General Lee is one of my all-time dream cars, and I love what you did! If I would've known about the Kyosho Fazer in the first place, I would've saved up my money a bit more instead of getting a Tamiya TT-02 with the '99 Impreza Monte Carlo body. If I ever do get the Kyosho Fazer, I'll be sure to do these! I am not the best with applying decals to rc's, but I'm sure my dad can help me out with that since he has experience with applying decals to model cars when he was younger. Once again, this is absolutely amazing, and I love it!
@BudgetRC_Channel Жыл бұрын
If you follow the methods that I used for the decals, it's almost fool-proof. You take as much time as you need to get them where you need them, then use tape references. Wet the decals so you can move them around until they're in the right spot, then pat the water out to keep them there.

@@BudgetRC_Channel I appreciate the response, I found the Kyosho dimensions and figured it was too small. I am using a ProForm body shell, although a 1970 Charger. unfortunately, no. This body has a longer wheelbase that only works with the longer Kyosho Fazer chassis. There is a body available from MCI Racing that I highlighted in my General Lee intro video that I'll be doing a build with soon. That body is designed for standard sized touring car chassis, including the Tamiyas.

I don't remember the filename, but they were the 6mm offset wheels designed for the vintage tires. The link in the description has 4 varieties: vintage style (smaller for more tire sidewall) and modern style, each with 0mm offset or 6mm offset.

@BudgetRC_Channel Жыл бұрын
With RC cars, the bodies are formed from Lexan, which can limit what they do. That's why the rear fascia is a separate piece. They also need the bodies to fit on their existing chassis, which means the wheelbase and track width is already pre-determined.
@pliantimpala7858 Жыл бұрын
@@BudgetRC_Channel That's true about the body having to be the length of the chassis. But the Diecast companies don't have any excuses for some of the trash they produce. The best 1/18 Charger casting is still the Hot Wheels one from like 20 years ago.
