I haven't had mine two hours and the esc just went poof smoke every were, I took the original esc out and replaced it with a hyper go esc, y'all let me be the first one to tell you it screams now, it scared me when I held it and gave it full throttle, the tires bloomed up really fast, when I pull the trigger the power is instant no slow build up, this buggy is going to be stupid fast it might out run my legendary Sonic beast I will test the speed tomorrow

What is the wheelbase on those? I'm building a Kyosho 1/10 PureTen GP FW-06 Chassis (nitro-powered) and I want to make it a General Lee. This car needs a body with a 258mm wheelbase. What body do you recommend?
@BudgetRC_ChannelАй бұрын
The kyosho bodies are 275mm. The Team Blue Groove and APlastiks bodies are the standard 250mm wheelbase, which is probably as close as you'll get.

Thanks for all your information in this video. I reached out to Team Blue Groove, and they told me that they don't make this body anymore. Anyway, I'm going to try the APlastics one, and we'll see how it goes. @BudgetRC_Channel

It was pretty rigid. When kydex is cool, it's a lot more rigid than ABS.

Hello, Great Video. Do you think that Kyosho body shell would fit on a Traxxas slash LCG chassis? and if not do you have a suggestion? thank you
@BudgetRC_Channel6 ай бұрын
It's way too small for a Slash. Wheelbase is only about 275mm and is about 200mm wide.
@MegaFrankgarcia6 ай бұрын
@@BudgetRC_Channel I appreciate the response, I found the Kyosho dimensions and figured it was too small. I am using a ProForm body shell, although a 1970 Charger. The only difference I can tell is the front end. 69 has a divider in the middle of the grill. The chassis is done, Preliminary shell fittings seem to be positive. I'll keep you updated how it comes out, thanks for the video.

The Malibu body is the same wheelbase, but the Fazer chassis is too wide for the Malibu body to fit. You need to stretch a narrower chassis to work with the Malibu.

Hey, I'm a big fan of the General Lee as well and I've made 3 of them so far and the biggest deal for me was to get the Dixie horn on it. If you would like the 1969 Charger engine sound and the Dixie horn on your General Lees, ESS makes a dual sound simulator with these sounds on it as long as you download the software program for it and load the ESS with them and it's all free. I really like my General Lee a lot better now that it sounds like a General Lee and can blow the Dixie horn like crazy.

no, that got disposed of long ago. That print was a lot narrower than the one I ended up completing. I sized that first one for a much narrower chassis.
