I can add to the mentioned advantages of this plane, that it is easy to assembly-disassembly, to carry around in native box, easy to pack into, say, a golf-class car. Genius wing mounts. Not-so-good, but advanced and reliable mounting of the tail unit. And lots of gliding! Volantex has made a great job for us.

The Ranger EX is very easy already and a lot of fun to fly. Can the Ranger 2000 do thermal soar or is it too heavy? What's the wing chord on the Ranger 2000? What's your AUW with the 3000mah? Cheers Nik (from Germany)

Hay Justin Great video of the ranger2000 , sweet big bird, should hold a good load of equipment for what ever type of flying. I still fly my Radian pro as much as I can but this would be so much nicer. The Pro barley gives you enough room for the radio and 1300ma 3s Battery.

I'm liking this model alot Justin and great review, question, what is the largest battery it can carry for optimal flight time? I couldnt see what battery mah you were using on your flight. Would it be able to carry like a 5000 - 6000 mah battery? What flight time can i expect with this size of battery?
