You should add rubber sealed bearings. They're expensive, but you only do it once.

Is that an HSP, or a Redcat Volcano? I ask because it has a Redcat spur gear cover that HSP doesn't use. Just get the part from Redcat. In fact, Amazon may carry it to restock. I like all the grease you put in it. They only use cheap pot cast metal. Some people don't lube them at all. I can't believe yours failed. I did the same grease job to my Volcano. Good job.

Thanks! I dont have these trucks anymore but they were HSPs originally. For the diffs, I tried Redcat branded parts and HSP and no name Amazon stuff, the Redcat ones were the only ones that lasted. Getting them shimmed properly really helped the longevity too.
