An orbital hydraulic motor with 7,8 cubic centimeters of displacement, built by myself.

Hello Erik, how do you do? well, I have to say this is awesome, I was wondering if you would share the drawings of your hydraulic motor, I really want to use it in my KOMATSU PC-800. i almost finished designing the under carriage based on electric motors and planetary gears, but really your hydraulic motor is way much better. thank you in advance.

+Erik79 It is ok, thank you for taking the time to answer any way. and good luck with the production process, maybe when you start producing i could order two for my self. but then you will have to ship them to Egypt. regarding making video/ slideshow for my work... i am still preparing my work shop, i just got the mill and lath and finished the design using SKETCH UP, hopefully i will start the manufacturing soon.

Hi gilles35, i'm happy that you enjoy this work!Waiting to understand if it's possible a production, is not good for me to sell the drawings, i'm sorry.However you have to know that the build of this micro motor is very hard; generally speaking, the typical modelers equipment and skills are not enough. Are needed some "hard to find" industrial components, some parts needs tolerances of microns and some other are to be built by cnc machine because the shape is defined by equations.Having such a kind of equipment and the skills, it is feasible but anyway very expensive.In a few months i'll show you the updated version of the motor and maybe a torque test.

Hi, Denil. This was my first try, a gerotor with a disc distributor valve coupled with the wheel via a tripod joint.

Hi Donato, if you speak italian we can talk in this Language.The production unfortunatly is still far away. Costs, improvements and test to be done are the main obstacles. Last but not least is essential to find a good CNC machinist capable to build it with the accuracy and precision that the project needs.If there will be news you'll see it here.See you...

Hi Rustem, I don't produce it yet. To start a production is quite expensive and complex. I'm trying to understand if it can be done and how much does it costs at the end of the process. One of this hydraulic motors has a part list, considering screws, bearings and all the mechanical components, that count well over 100 parts that have to be assembled. And some other parts that have to be selective-coupled or need a running-in period.

Hi Mike, maybe in the future. I'm trying to understand if it could be feasible. To start a mass production (saying for example 100 pcs) is quite expensive and i don't know if the request is enough. Final cost will be between 250 and 350 euro for a single motor, so this is not a cheap component with a large market.Bye, let me say what you think.

Hi Andreas, for now you can't buy it. There are only three of them built by myself for testing. At the end they will be assembled on my Cat330 1/14,5 full hydraulic. Not sure if it's possible to market it, is very complex and expensive.
