I've flown high performance military aircraft IRL (T-38 & F-18) and that was an excellent aircraft handling demonstration. I can also tell you if I was in that aircraft I would have passed out about 25 times !!!

Wow congrats on the maiden. I have never seen a rebel classic pushed like that with the elevator pulls. Impressive.

Koko is the one and ONLY reason I got a rebel classic. And believe me I did not want another Rebel when I already have the Max. I was looking at the Picaro and other "high-energy" jets. His flying is the only flying ive seen with a rebel that shows what the jet is capable of and just how strong yet light it really is.Seems most other Rebel pilots fly them real gentle and boring compared to Koko lol.

Well the Rebel no slouch either the only difference is the size lands like a trainer but then being that big does help. The Chaps seemed well pleased as well they should be. Carry on.

Such a great plane to fly! Carbon Tube upgrade and it can be pushed hard! Flies fast and slow. Lands great!

How is David trimming the surfaces while Koko is flying? Does he have his own remote or is he using Koko's remote? Also I love their communication you can tell there is a high level of comfort between them and also Koko is a hell of a pilot! He has some major skills! Great videos from your Tucson trip, Jonathan!
@thelightersideofrc8 ай бұрын
Hey Tom. Yes they have a great routine. David is trimming on the radio while Koko is flying.

Is Koko Kool a hired gun to set up the jets for the client? He seems very confident in what the jet needs. Very cool.
@thelightersideofrc7 ай бұрын
He is a Phenomenal pilot! Just the process that works. got the aircraft all trimmed in 2-3 min and then gets to have fun all on the maiden flight!

Was this flown with stock aluminum wing tube or upgraded carbon fiber tube?
@thelightersideofrc7 ай бұрын
Pipe was upgraded from beginning to a custom Carbon tube.

Are the Jeti trim buttons not reachable while flying? Or they just prefer to have someone trim for them
@thelightersideofrc8 ай бұрын
Totally reachable just much quicker to trim 6 flight modes with someone doing it.
@MrMLT678 ай бұрын
From what I can tell, he has takeoff flaps, slow mode, and landing mode. Does the landing mode have crow and full flaps while the slow mode just has flaps?
@thelightersideofrc7 ай бұрын
Also Slow flight mode which is gear up and full flaps. Yes a small amount of crow added to full flaps.
@iflylow62247 ай бұрын
How is he trimming for flaps at over 100mph?
@thelightersideofrc7 ай бұрын
He's not. Planes slows down.
@davidhollfelder99408 ай бұрын
On these “dolphin” style airframes, has anyone reported loss of elevator authority (tail blanketed by full flaps), just before flare? (Loss of decent followed by drop .. with no change in input) .. Mine does.
@thelightersideofrc7 ай бұрын
I suppose it will depend on the model. They may generally look the same but there can be significant differences between the various airframes/manufactures.
