The kite you have used looks like the same as a very cheap kite on sale currently in the UK. They are not very good, with poor sewing and cheap bamboo frame. If you have used one of these kites then i guess that you have only used the material and rebuilt it with a better frame. For an easy looking build it flies very well, just shows that imagination can get better results than spending huge amount of money. well done.
