RC Lobster Boat from scratch build process

I will show you how build my RC Lobster boat (lobster yacht) step by step, which covering last two years, from cutting the first piece to safely floating. I have produced all the parts myself from scratch, whether wood, metal or plastic. There was also a long research process two years ago. Also I made some of my hand tools according to my own needs. There are videos available, please have a look at them as well. There are still accessories to be made, like roof and navigation lights, production continues.
This is not a "How It's Made" video. I prepare this video just to inspire the curious.

wow çok titiz bir çalışma elinize sağlık, bende 3 yıl önce 1/10 ölçeğini yaptım dikkatimi çeken dümen servosunu öne koyup kolu uzatmışsınız güzel olmuş ama çok uğraştırmış ben kıç tarafa koydum kabloyu uzattım daha basit ve kolay oldu tekrar tebrikler çok şık bir model olmuş

Teşekkür ederim değerli yorumunuz için. Teknemin yapım aşamasında sizin de videolarınızı izlemiştim. Benim ölçeğim daha küçük o yüzden kıç tarafa servo yerleştiremedim. Ayrıca hazır bir kit olmadığı için pekçok kısmını kendim tasarlayarak yaptım.

Evet aynı plan ama ben sadece omurga ve postalar için o planı kullandım, diğer kısımlarını değiştirdim. Motor yerleşim yeri ve motor gücü, daha önce bahsettiğiniz gibi servonun bulunduğu yer, pil yuvasının konumu, güverte tasarımı tamamen farklı. Hatta postalarda da değişiklikler mevcut. Bu konuyu dile getirmeniz üzerine iç detayları gösteren bir video da ayrıca yükleyeceğim. Tekrar teşekkürler.

I'm glad you liked it. At least there are still things to do like the ceiling and lighting. Most importantly, I need to solve the battery problem because I used a Li-Ion battery and the C value cannot meet the instantaneous need of the brushless motor. I need some free time to complete these and hope to find some during the summer break. By the way, I'm looking at your videos and you've made a lot of pinwheels, so I made one too. There are many 4-stroke and steam engines that are another of my interests, and yes, I designed and built a 2-stroke one too, I just haven't run it yet. I'm glad to put a smile on your face and thank you for your nice comment. Slo-mo videos are the best and only way to understand what actually happens. You can see in detail and watch over and over again how the boat responds to the rudder, also gliding and bouncing on the waves. In other hand close and slo-mo videos are looks like real. I am also grateful to my iPhone, which gave me this opportunity and my brother who takes these footages. Thank you for your wishes. During the summer months, I spend weekends by the sea and watch the boats that fishermen improvise. I believe that I can build the lobster boat I designed on a ful scale with a plan and quality workmanship, but this depends on the need and opportunity.

I used this plan just for basic structure of my boat, rest of it is my design. For example the hull design at 05:16, all inner configurations like motor mount 02:30, rudder mechanism 03:20 etc.

Àre you ising balsa wood

No it's not made with balsa. For keel and frame I use hornbeam wood, it is quite strong wood, glueable, suitable for nails and planing. You can see this wood with brown color until 1:30 in video. For strip I use ayous wood it is light and bendable without use any vapour. The rest of boat is made with this wood, you can see it with yellowish color.

Thanks for your comment. Actually I modified it a bit, there are 6pcs 18650 batteries in the stern of the boat. I changed the battery box and moved 2 of the batteries forward, but I haven't been able to shoot any new videos yet. For stability I have add spray rails.
